Woman rings into funeral by Zoom while showering as church mourners see all

It's a nightmare scenario, let's be honest.

A woman has unknowingly rung into a Zoom funeral with her camera on - which doesn't sound so bad right?

Well, it wouldn't be, except she was having a shower.

It's not the first accidental naked mishap on Zoom though, as a Romanian social democratic Councillor once joined a call in a similar situation.

You may benefit from the comfort of working from home, being able to join a conference call sat in nothing more than a shirt on the top half and pyjama bottoms and fluffy socks on the bottom half - and that's only if the camera has to be on.

But when it comes to serious events - for example, a funeral - you would think that people would be careful to dress appropriately.

There's dressing appropriately and well, dressing at all.

The woman, simply known as Hayley, was caught by a handful of other funeral attendees as she joined the call with her camera on as she was in the shower in the viral clip.

At least she remembered to mute herself - silver lining and all that.

She joined the event while in the shower, standing a few feet away with everything on show.

If that wasn't enough for her, she also appeared to be shaving her 'private' areas on camera too, with what looked like a large group of people watching.

Apparently, she was told at the wake in person as she showed up not knowing that she had broadcast her shower routine to the whole call.

The clip has done the rounds on X a number of times, with no-one being able to track down its original source.

People have been commenting, reposting and talking about it non-stop because let's be honest, when's the next time something like this will ever happen again?

With that being said though, it's just the latest in a long line of Zoom call mishaps, and there might be more to come in the age of hybrid working and apparently, hybrid funerals.

Social media users understandably found the situation quite shocking though, and shared their thoughts on X.

One user commented: "I have missed this, but wow. Thats a lot to process," as another said: "I’m in awe of her multi-tasking skills tbh."

A third put: "Regardless of her camera being on by mistake can’t believe she thought that was the appropriate time to do that"

And a fourth posted: "I know I shouldn’t have, but that made me roar with laughter and now I can’t stop giggling"
