A beauty therapist in Scotland has said she won't provide treatments for people who have received a Covid-19 vaccine.

Sarah McCutcheon - who runs Glasgow-based Wellness and Wellbeing With Sarah - took to Instagram to advise people not to bother trying to get an appointment with her if they'd been vaccinated against the disease, which has claimed more than four million lives.

Sarah said she's 'sorry not sorry' about the stance.

Sharing a message from an Australian salon which said 'We are not your hairdresser if you've had the Covid vax', Sarah added: "We agree and will not conduct massages or treatments on any vaccinated people.

"Sorry not sorry."

Captioning the post, she elaborated: "I know we've had a lot of messages asking when we are available for treatments.

"We have replied to many of you with the same statement - are you vaccinated or will you be receiving your vaccine!

"To reduce repetition to single messages we have decided to follow on and post that we will not conduct treatments on any vaccinated person, please respect our personal choices. #stayhealthyandhappy"

Pretty ironic isn't it really, that she has asked people to respect her personal choice, and in the same breath said she's 'sorry not sorry' that she won't treat people who have made the personal choice to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.

Sarah was heavily criticised in the comments after sharing the post.

One person wrote: "You numpty! Christ we need better education."

Another said: "So clinically extremely vulnerable people i.e. cancer patients who have had the vaccine to protect themselves are being discriminated against by you."

A third added: "I cannot possibly comprehend why any business would implement this rule. It defies all logic and business sense.

"How exactly are you going to enforce this rule? Do you expect everyone to be honest about having the vaccine? Do you think you're going to catch some sort of mystery illness from the masses of vaccinated people? The mind boggles that there are people with these beliefs walking around among the rest of us."

They continued: "Why would a business want to alienate themselves from 95 percent of potential customers? Most people will be vaccinated within the next two years.

"Every school child too, which means in a few years, the only people you'll be serving are a handful of equally deranged anti-vaxxers.

"I am dying to know your thought process behind this crazy decision."

LADbible has contacted Sarah for comment.

Covid-19 vaccines have been credited with saving thousands of lives in the UK and have significantly reduced the rate of deaths and hospitalisations.

Harmful side effects are rare and far outweighed by the threat posed by Covid-19.
