Probably the most famous living pair of conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany Hensel have become a point of fascination for plenty of us.
I mean, it’s so difficult to comprehend literally sharing your life, your body with another person like that. And they really do have to share stuff, even the likes of the salary.
When it was revealed earlier this year that Abby had been married, we all got swept back up into wondering how they go about their everyday lives.

Luckily, their reality show on TLC back in 2012 gave us many of the answers as it showed how the 34-year-olds completed even the simplest tasks, like how they drive a car.
It really is a pretty simple task for the majority of us with two hands and two feet. But it’s made more extraordinary by the two women who share two hands and two feet between them.
During the show, they explained how they reckon they make a pair of ‘good drivers’, before Brittany explained just how it works.

“We have two licenses and when we got our driver's license we each had to take the test and we both passed,” the twin said.
"When we drive Abby is control of the gas and the brakes and we both steer, and I'm in charge of the blinker [indicator]."
Although, there is still room for some confusion as their mum, Patty, has also been quoted as saying: “I don't know what would happen if they got pulled over for speeding.

"Would they each get a ticket or just Abby because it's her foot on the accelerator?"
Abby and Brittany are dicephalus conjoined twins which means they share organs from the waist down. But despite only having one body, they say they have two souls.
During their life, they have achieved separate degrees at university and their parents always encouraged them to develop their own minds.

But with their degrees from Bethel University, they were only able to receive one salary between them as teachers.
The twins have worked as fifth grade teachers in Minnesota and Abby explained to the BBC: “Obviously right away we understand that we are going to get one salary because we're doing the job of one person.
“As maybe experience comes in we'd like to negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and because we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways."
