Whether you’ve resisted the temptation to buy one or not, there’s no denying that smart watches are handy little gadgets.
And I’m not just talking about their benefits in tracking your run so you can take a photo of your watch face and share it to your Instagram Story.
There’s plenty of features on the things, and it seems not only can an Apple Watch let you know ‘when you’re sick’, but it can catch your straying partner red-handed.

Yep, one woman has explained how she used a specific detail to catch out the cheating in her relationship.

Aussie model Christina Podolyan claimed she found out her now ex-boyfriend was cheating on her with ‘nearly half of Melbourne’ thanks to going through his Apple Watch.
In a TikTok video, she explained she was working as a flight attendant while he went to a birthday party which was full of ‘beautiful’ people from the modelling industry.

Christina said she wasn’t insecure as she ‘trusted him’, and he kept in touch with her throughout the night.
But at 3am, while she was on her way home, she got a call from her best mate asking if she knew where her partner was.
“Well, I really didn’t want to tell you this, but Fred has actually been in the smokers’ area of this club I’m at for the past hour, talking to this girl,” her friend reportedly said.

Apparently, he was exchanging numbers with her and when questioned, her boyfriend said this woman had grabbed his phone and he didn’t want to publicly reject her.
Christina thought she was being paranoid and left it to sit, but a few weeks later, she couldn’t get over that niggling worry, and his Apple Watch was just sat there.
“Of course, I’m going to look through it. My gut told me to search it because I knew I’d find something,” she said.
“When I unlocked the Apple Watch and went into messages, my heart sank.”

She claimed that despite him deleting messages off his iPhone, he’d forgotten to do the same from his synced-up watch.
“He obviously never thought I would even think to check the Apple Watch, even though it automatically syncs,” Christina said.
Here, she claims to have found 20 different chats with women saved with fake nicknames, as far as ‘Frank from work’.

“He was living ten different lives,” Christina warned. “Ladies, stay woke. You are not crazy if your gut is yelling at you – just check the Apple Watch.”
Well, there you go - apparently, the watches could even be a spying device as well as telling you how many steps you’ve done every day.
