Pulling off a great Best Man's speech is a really tough task, you've got to walk that tightrope between being funny about someone and making fun of them. This one seems to have nailed though:
Play it too safe and you risk a stony silence from a crowd who wish you'd wrap up your boring speech and let them get back to drinking.

Then again, take it too far and you've just embarrassed the bride and groom in front of everyone they know on their big day.
Luckily for one happy couple, their Best Man had a hilarious joke up his sleeve, which might just be the greatest joke in a Best Man's speech of all time.
When Todd McPherson was asked to be Best Man at his cousin's wedding, he had the perfect joke to tell to sign off his big speech.

"A lot of you may not believe this but I somewhat saw this day happening back in 2009," Todd started.
"When I was in Year 7 trying to navigate the halls of E block, there was a group of senior girls walking towards me."
"I remember seeing Kirb and thinking to myself one day she's gonna have my last name. And here we are!"
The hilarious joke had the bride, groom and all of the guests bursting out laughing, a sure sign the Best Man has done his job and delivered an absolutely cracking speech.

Plus, if the marriage doesn't work out the bride knows she's always got the cousin to fall back on.
As far as Best Man's speeches go, Todd's got some competition from Derek in Scotland, who told a brilliant story about catching his brother Gary and future wife in bed on Christmas Day.
Wedding guests were left howling with laughter while the shocked couple tried to process what had just been revealed, and poor Gary just about managed to give his brother the signal to wrap up his speech.

Not everybody's speeches hit all the right notes, as one Best Man ended up getting an earful from the groom for his 'embarrassing' joke.
The poor guy opened his speech at the groom's second wedding with 'welcome back everyone', a line that got plenty of laughs from the crowd and the bride but went down like a lead balloon with the groom.
The beleaguered Best Man decided to ask the internet whether he'd been out of line, posting on Reddit's 'Am I The A**hole' group about the encounter.
Luckily for him, most people thought the groom was the one out of line and the most popular response was: "Tell him you're sorry and you won't use it at his next one."
