A couple who very much couldn't keep it in their pants ended up in A&E after they decided to join the mile high club without being on a plane.
TLC's Sex Sent Me to ER series featured a recreation of a rather raunchy incident between couple William and Leslie, who very nearly went splat prematurely after plummeting out of a plane and hooking up while mid-air.
William explained that he was an adrenaline junkie and described his partner as an 'adrenaline junkie in training', while Leslie told the show she was 'very, very sexually active'.

Apparently all it takes is one look from her fella and 'bam, it's gotta be on'.
"When it comes to sex, I come up with all the ideas. I come up with a lot of different ways to try to have sex," she said of their regular raunchy romps.
That's all well and good, but when the suggestion becomes sex while skydiving it's possible that you ought to combat the rush of blood to your nether regions and make sure you're not thinking with your other head.

Unfortunately for the couple, neither of them thought that plummeting from a plane at great speed was an inadvisable location to be having sex.
While for some people the possibility of danger can heighten the excitement, there's a difference between taking a risk and hurtling towards solid ground at terminal velocity.
In a recreation of their stunt which landed them in A&E, William and Leslie took advantage of them wearing baggy shorts to hook up in mid-air before they noticed that they were far closer to the ground that they'd assumed.
It turns out that falling to the ground doesn't take all that long, and William pulled Leslie's parachute to slow her descent.

However, he had some problems deploying his own chute and broke his own nose in the process, landing on the ground in a painful manner.
"When I seen him on the ground, first thought that went through my head was, like, he's dead," Leslie said.
William added: "The very first pain is in my groin and on my left leg. So not only might I be done skydiving, I might be done pleasing my woman."

Fortunately for the raunchy couple, a trip to A&E confirmed that William's little chap was still intact, which he naturally described as 'a big relief'.
So remember everyone, if you're ever skydiving it's probably not the most appropriate place to be having sex.
You do not want to be the reason why the skydiving operators have to put up a sign.
