Hotels are usually pretty good with fulfilling requests, such as a late check-out or some good room service when customers ask for them, but it took Brendan Fraser fan Mike Moe repeated efforts to have his unusual request actually met.
Having starred in beloved films such as The Mummy, George of the Jungle and Journey to the Center of the Earth, Fraser no doubt has fans across the globe who show their support with film rewatches, declarations of adoration on social media and maybe even a phone background or two.
Mike, however, decided to prove his love for the actor through his hotel bookings, apparently utilising the 'extra note/request' option for years to see if it would pay off.

In a post on Twitter, Mike explained that in this section of the booking he would request 'a picture of Brendan Fraser in the room'. Not just any old picture, though. According to a now-viral post shared by the Instagram page nowthatsthestuff, Mike more specifically asked for a picture of Fraser 'from the 1999 movie The Mummy'.
Many fans will be familiar with Fraser's role as Rick O'Connell, but obviously Mike wanted to be reminded of this character while on his travels. Unfortunately the vast majority of his requests went unanswered – until, that is, he visited a Double Tree hotel in Phoenix while travelling for a wedding.
Mike shared his delight on Twitter as he shared an image of the framed picture of Fraser standing proudly in his hotel room, tagging the hotel and writing: "The @DoubleTree was the first hotel to finally fulfill my request for a picture of Brendan Fraser in the room. Thank you Double Tree. I am forever grateful."

He shared his joy further on Instagram, where he shared a picture of himself proudly holding the picture of Fraser with a big grin on his face, writing: "Weekend trip to #Phoenix was a success I'd say. A wedding, some Brendan Fraser, and good times."
Twitter users have responded to the post to describe it as 'awesome' and 'incredible', and Mike even received a response from Double Tree, which said it was 'so glad our team could help make your dream come true'.
I've no doubt hotel workers will have some bizarre and downright confusing stories of requests they've heard from people staying in their rooms over the years, but at least this is one wholesome tale with a happy ending.
