Brits can't get enough of addictive mobile game after downloading it over Christmas

An addictive game has social media users singing its praises as they now laugh themselves silly on game night.

2024 is here and kicking and Brits have been sucked into an addictive game that has got them looking at their friends bizarrely after realising their sense of humour.

With life still proving to be expensive in 2024, there's nothing better than having a games night in with a couple of mates.

And one game that was downloaded over Christmas by loads of Brits has given many the opportunity to learn something new and showcase their brilliant sense of humour.

Adding a slight twist to the typical quiz format, Fibbage often results in fits of laughter and many have taken to social media to sing its praises.

The game supports between 2 to 8 players who have to write lies to a prompt and then figure out what is a truth and what is a lie.

The game, which is part of the JackBox Party Pack series, then awards points to those who pick the correct answer out of lie and also gives points to those who were crafty enough to have an answer that others incorrectly thought was the truth.

With normal quiz questions this might prove quite difficult writing a lie that seems believable but thankfully, after a category is picked the prompts tend to be quite out there.

Jackbox's Fibbage is all the range right now.

“Just had a round of Fibbage with my friends where we all signed onto what we thought was a lie and then turned into the truth and the entire room erupted in SCREAMS like we’d just won a sports match,” wrote one X user who praised the game.

“Hey @jackboxgames Fibbage still rocks (& so does You Don’t Know Jack! of course),” said another.

“Everyone gets SO mad when I always win at Fibbage yet they ALWAYS WANT TO PLAY FIBBAGE,” said one boastful user.

“FIBBAGE WITH THESE GUYS IS THE WORST because half of the contestants are the world's greatest liars and the other half can't tell a lie to save their life and IT DOESN'T MATTER cause anyone can get away with anything in that game,” wrote another.

“You put in a bunch of dorks in a game of Jackbox Fibbage, and you get comedy gold,” joked another.

“Hadn't had the chance to play fibbage and today i did with my friend and he fell for almost all my lies. Nice,” commented another user.

So if you fancy yourself a silver tongued devil or comedy genius, might be worth grabbing the gang together to see well you fare.

The game and its sequels are available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, Android TV, Apple TV, iPad, Amazon Fire TV, PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and require a smartphone to use as a controller.
