A teenager who was stuck hanging from a power line following a horrific car crash has recalled what she first remembered of the ordeal.
Kennedy Littledike was just 16 at the time of the incident, where she lost control of her car while driving two of her friends in Nampa, Idaho, USA.
While driving home from a trip to a nearby mountain with her friends back in 2021, the teenager started to feel emotional as it had only been a couple of days since she'd broken up with her boyfriend.

Kennedy started crying and lost control of the vehicle, as it veered to the left, she over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll and flip, throwing all three people out of the car.
The Idaho teen was left hanging by a broken leg from a power line, as she has since admitted that she thought she was 'done'.

Now, the American has made an appearance on the Athletes Doing Good podcast on YouTube, recalling the harrowing experience.
Despite crashing into a power pole 30ft in the air, which coincidentally saved her life, Kennedy said that she doesn't remember the crash itself.

Explaining what had happened, she recalled: "I was awake the entire time on the power line but I don't initially remember getting thrown from the vehicle,
"But as soon as I landed up there, I woke up and all I remember is that it was really dark, I was high in the air upside down, and I was uncomfortable - not necessarily in pain."
She said she was 'kind of confused' but knew things weren't right, bursting into tears again.
"But then, I stopped myself from crying because I felt like at that point that that was weak and that was a sign of me giving up - I wasn't going to live if I were to cry," Kennedy said.
Soon, she was shouting for help before blacking out again.

"At that point, I started yelling for help, then my memory blacks out a little bit, then I woke up and there's so many people underneath me because I lived in a small town and people get curious," Kennedy recalled.
"They're just watching me and I was confused because I was like 'why isn't anyone helping me?'"

As she was getting thrown from the vehicle, her arm was torn off, hanging by the skin on her back, while her femur was snapped over the wire, horrifyingly hanging in front of her face.
After an hour, authorities helped her get down and rushed her to hospital, where she was put into a medical coma and her leg was amputated.

Her arm was also partially paralysed, while her parents were told that survival was unlikely.
In a video she shared to YouTube a few years ago, Kennedy opened up more on what she saw while dangling from the wire.
She explained: “I remember thinking ‘why isn’t anyone getting me down’, they were holding a white carpet in case I fell, but I don’t know why or understand that’s why they were holding it. I don't know how many people were there, it just felt like a lot of people were there.
“I was confused why they were all there just looking at me and not helping me. A lot of confusion, scared.”
