Woman reveals phrase ‘restaurants will never refuse’ if you’re in public and desperate to use a toilet

Being caught short while you're out and about isn't fun for anyone.

You never know when natures going to call, but it seems that it typically happens at the most inconvenient times when toilets are few and far between.

Sometimes, the only option your left with is to barge into a bar or restaurant with your legs crossed before begging them to let you use their bathroom facilities.

But not all businesses are happy to have strangers walking in off the street and relieving themselves if they aren't a customer - even if the look of desperation on your face makes it clear your having something of an emergency.

Luckily, this woman from the US reckons that she has the perfect hack to get around this issue, explaining that she has tried and tested a secret sentence which venues just apparently can't say no to.

Bianca Stelian, better known online as @infinitebs, revealed that you will never run the risk of ruining your favourite pants ever again if you say a few magic words while running into a restaurant to use the toilet.

In a TikTok video, she explained that you should search for the nearest hotel or eatery if you feel the urge to go to the bathroom but there are no public restrooms in close proximity.

If you end up finding a hotel first, Bianca reckons that for the most part you can probably just 'walk straight in, find the bathroom, go to it and leave'.

"The front desk is not there to like police whether you are part of the hotel or not," she said. "You can just go in, no problem," though she did acknowlege someone in the comments who said that some hotels require an 'active key card' to access the lobby bathrooms.

However, as we all know, restaurants are a completely different kettle of fish - and if you don't have a reservation, there aren't many excuses you can use to get access to their toilet as 'I'm bursting' sometimes doesn't really resonate with most eateries.

Bianca reckons she has a brilliant solution to this, though.

She explained: "Go to the front desk and say, 'Hey, I'm so sorry I think I left my phone in the bathroom...do you mind if I go check for it?' They're always going to say yes - they have no reason to say no."

The social media user explained that you can then stroll on into the bathroom to 'check for your phone' - AKA, do your business - before emerging victoriously.

Bianca continued: "You probably don't even need to say anything to anyone on your way out - if you run into someone that you asked, you can easily just be like, 'Sorry, it wasn't in there! Ah, sucks'. And then be on your merry way!

"But obviously if you are wearing something without pockets and are holding your phone, you're going to say something like, 'I think I left my purse in the bathroom' instead, or just something that you don't have on you at that very moment.

"If you want to, you can say it's a friend's purse, a friend's phone...it doesn't matter!

"Point is that this will get you into a bathroom 10 times out of 10, 100 times out of 100 - you just need another reason to go in other than, 'Hey, I'm so sorry can I use your bathroom?'"

Social media users were pretty impressed with Bianca's idea and flooded the comment section with their thoughts.

One person simply said: "Genius!"

While another joked: "In my experience, if you tell a restaurant 'here or in the bathroom, you choose', they will let you go."

A third added: "The fact that we as humans have to deal with looking for a bathroom and have trouble finding one in public is ridiculous!"

A fourth wrote: "I literally never ask and just walk past them cause what are they going to do after I already went lol."
