A former porn star turned nurse has returned to the adult entertainment industry, and explained why she did so.
Sadie Summers has followed in the footsteps of some of her other colleagues by trading in a career in healthcare for one making people hot under the collar.
She wouldn't be the first nurse to leave their job after making a success of it in the adult industry, though this isn't the 38-year-old's first rodeo and she still plans to work as a nurse from time to time as she likes the job.

While some healthcare professionals quit the career after learning they could make so much more elsewhere, the mum-of-one first got into porn almost 20 years ago.
Speaking to the New York Post about her change of careers, the 38-year-old explained how she started in the adult industry before quitting in 2008.
She said: "Doing porn’s the best job in the world, I’ve never been ashamed of my sexuality. The majority of my movies were coming out on DVD, nothing was really on the internet.

"I remember back in the day we would have to go check out what magazines we were in by going to the sex shops and picking them off the shelves... It was a way different time."
However, she quit the industry after three years and after spending some time on the ski slopes, she 'wanted to prove to myself I could get a degree' and 'worked as a nurse for a long time'.
"I’m still licensed and I still do work occasionally because I like it," she said of her time as a nurse, a period where she met the man who would become her husband.

They tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed a child a few years later, but the rise of OnlyFans during the pandemic kickstarted her return to porn.
The 38-year-old and her husband set up an OnlyFans account during the pandemic and pretty quickly amassed a sizeable following, and then her hubby wondered aloud whether she'd return to the industry in a more professional capacity.
She said: "He asked me if I would ever start working with other performers again, I just got really excited about the idea.
"There’s nothing like being on set, I absolutely love it... there’s something really magical about making movies, I love the creative process."

However, one thing she doesn't want to do is incorporate her experience as a nurse into her work in porn, as she told the Post she wants to 'keep separation'.
