A polygamous Congolese man scored a hat-trick when he married triplets all on the same day after receiving proposals from all three of them.
The man, known only as Luwizo, said he could do nothing but oblige because of the situation.
The wedding event took place in Kalehe, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, near the border with Rwanda.

Luwizo said: "I was obliged to marry all of them because they are triplets.
"It wasn't an easy decision because until now, my parents don't understand what I'm doing."
Natalie was the first to experience Luwizo's charm but was forced to make two extra spaces in the marital bed when her sisters Natasha and Nadege met the groom-to-be.

The women had shared everything since childhood so sharing a husband presented no problems for them, according to one of the sisters.
Local media reported one of the sisters saying: "When we told him he had to marry all of us, he was shocked. But because he had already fallen in love with all of us, nothing could stop our plans since we were also in love with him.
“Even though people considered it impossible for three women to share one husband, to us, sharing everything has been our life since childhood.”

And if Natalie, Natasha, Nadege, and Luwizo's four-way ceremony sounds like a lot, wait until you hear about Brittany and Briana Deane and Josh and Jeremy Salyers.
The two pairs of identical twins married each other in a 'twice upon a time' marriage ceremony in August 2018 and both couples soon became pregnant around the same time, giving birth to sons who are not only cousins but genetic brothers.
Jeremy told Fox News: "We get a lot of questions about our living situation, [we get] mostly positive responses when people find out about it. We don't mind talking about it at all."
And Briana said: "I would add that we totally know we are eccentric, socially eccentric.

"I would say that the one that we get a lot [is that] people always ask if we switch partners - I hope we have explained ourselves that we do not!"
Announcing the pregnancies on Instagram, the group wrote: "Our children will not only be cousins, but full genetic siblings and quaternary multiples!
"Can't wait to meet them and for them to meet each other!"
