Private investigator shares the one main difference in the way men and women cheat on each other

Apparently, the cleanliness of a man's car is something he's learned to look out for

A private investigator explained the main difference in spotting patterns of cheating when it comes to men and women.

Over in the US, Raymond Ranno has spent over 30 years as a private investigator and runs his own agency, so he knows the patterns to spot when he's sent out to investigate someone and see if they're cheating or not.

According to Raymond, 'about 40 percent' of his work involves spying on potentially cheating couples to spot the signs of misbehaviour, and he explained what to look out for.

In an interview on Locked In with Ian Bick, he explained: "If I go into a coffee place, or a supermarket wherever I need to be, I just take the lid off, turn it on, put the cap on and it looks like I'm walking around with a coffee.

As for the difference between how men and women cheat, the private investigator said that it has a lot to do with the car.

Raymond explained that in his years of investigation, a man having a 'clean car' would turn out to be a big clue.

“If a guy's going to pick up his sweetie on the side, he wants a clean car," he said of seeing cheating men cleaning their car and then going to pick up their secret somebody.

“As soon as somebody goes to the car wash I think ‘Ha ha, what's next?’ It’s amazing how they do that."

Things could be quite different for women going out to cheat, as the PI explained it was 'pretty much the opposite for women' because they 'usually jump in the guy's car'.

He said: "Men always want to drive. It's very rare that I see a guy jump into a female's car."

As for where he's caught car-based cheaters starting their illicit rendezvous, Raymond said that sometimes guys would actually pick up the woman they were cheating with 'on the same street' where they lived.

Meanwhile, British private investigator Aaron Bond said there were four big signs that someone had to watch out for when trying to detect whether or not someone was cheating.

The first sign he spoke of was the spark returning to the relationship as a cheating partner tried to cover their tracks and make it seem as though all was well in their actual relationship.

Another big warning sign was having multiple social media and email accounts, as while having two phones can be a bit blatant, some people will make extra accounts in an attempt to get their messages and interactions going through channels they think you don't know about.

If their normal itinerary changes seemingly at the last moment, such as having to stay late or travel suddenly, that can be a cause for concern, Also, them suddenly having a lot of cash so they can spend money without leaving a paper trail is sign number four.

So, if you are going to cheat and clean your car beforehand then just know there might be a private investigator on your tail thinking you're painfully unoriginal.
