Even the Queen's Guard makes mistakes from time to time, as demonstrated by the following video:
As you'll see in the footage, one of the cavalry soldiers was filmed screaming at a shop worker after mistaking her for a tourist.

The guard is seen walking behind a pillar at the royal residence just as the woman is doing the same to enter her booth.
It's likely he thought she was yet another tourist trying to badger him for a photo op, and he turns around to shout at her.
The hilarious outburst is shortly followed by the realisation that the woman is just going about her business and he swiftly retreats.
TikTok user @busk1976 shared the clip, writing: "The Queen's Guard mistakes the shop lady for tourist, get out."

Thankfully she saw the funny side, as did the online community who have viewed the clip more than 600,000 times.
"At least he smiled about it and she saw the funny side of it," wrote one, while another said, "His face when he realised."
A third added: "Man walked back there to laugh it off before coming back out.

A fourth chimed in: "I know he felt embarrassed everytime he had to walk up and down after that."
While the soldier's reaction might appear a little over dramatic, anyone who's encountered the Queen's Guard will know that they don't like to mess about.
Tourists who get in their way have been known to be shouted at and, in extreme cases, even trampled on.
Just take a look at this woman who received a good telling off when she tried to get a pic next to one of the Queen's gee-gees.

In a video posted on TikTok this week, the blonde-haired tourist can be seen approaching the horse, getting quite close to its face.
In an attempt to get a bit closer to the animal, she tries to grab hold of its reins, much to the annoyance of the guard on its back.
Spotting her move, he orders her to stop, shouting: "Stand back from the Queen's lifeguard, don't touch the reins!"
Understandably startled by the order, the woman jumps out of her skin, holding her chest as she backs away.
The short clip was shared to social media along with the caption: "We Will Never Return To London After This Incident."

Although they were critical of the officer, the internet was on hand to remind them not to mess with the Queen's personal bodyguards.
"Serves her right you aren’t allowed to touch the guard," wrote one, with another adding, "It’s not Disney they are working horses and serving army."
In short, don't mess with the dudes in funny hats.
