The constant swathe of dating trends and ‘tests’ can make finding someone to have a relationship with pretty rough. But once you’re in them, it isn’t necessarily all sunshine and rainbows.
While experts give advice on how to ‘save your relationship’ or questions to ask that could ‘make or break’ you, it’s inevitable that sometimes the best thing to do is break up.
Although, that’s not exactly always easy. And let’s be honest, not everyone in the relationship handles it well.

An expert previously revealed the one ‘crazy’ thing all women apparently do after splitting from their partner, but this woman truly had a nightmare.
Her ex-boyfriend played a brutal prank on her as she got a swathe of bizarre calls from strangers in an absolute ‘break-up from hell’.
Jessica Sewell ended the relationship with her fella after finding out he’d been messaging other women on Facebook.

And his reaction seems to confirm she made the right decision. He ended up plastering her phone number around their town in Queensland, Australia for a Star Wars-themed prank back in 2020.
He advertised a $100AU (£51) reward for the ‘best’ Chewbaca impressions and the 33-year-old was soon receiving calls at all hours with impersonations.
And at first, she told 9News she found it ‘quite funny’.
“I thought it was a good joke,” she said. “This has got to be the most childish break-up I've ever had. All he had to do was say 'I don't love you anymore, I wanna move on’." But after two weeks of Chewie chats and growls, the constant ringing was getting too much as it disturbed her kids’ sleep.

Sewell told the Cairns Post it ‘hurt her feelings’ as she explained: “Someone called and said they thought it might have been done as a joke because they watched (a man) put up the poster.”
Her ex even went one nightmarish step further when he abandoned his car on her drive, without its tires meaning she was essentially blocked into her house.
“The police got in contact with me and finally they're going to do something about it,” she added.

And while he behaved like an absolute child, dating guru Jana Hocking previously said that after a break-up most women ‘stalk’ the Instagram of the person dating their ex.
“I know all about your recent travels. What you ate at that fancy restaurant the other day and I was even there to witness your hard launch as a couple on Instagram,” she said.
“I’ve seen it all. Usually at around midnight on a Tuesday when I’m wide awake and the mind is racing.”
Be careful out there, lads.
