Footage of a traffic warden getting into it with a police officer for parking on a double yellow line has riled up the internet.
A viral clip shared this week shows a traffic warden screaming at a police officer who he insists parked up illegally to go and grab a Maccies, and the exchange is internet gold to a T.
Captured in Maidstone, the warden can be seen screaming at the officer: “Why the f**k should I take this off?” as the policeman tries to convince him to remove a clamp from the police van’s wheel. Watch the footage below:
The warden shouts: “You’re parking on a double yellow, you’re not above the law. You think you can park anywhere you want.

“You’ve gave me fines before, why shouldn’t I fine you,” the warden adds.
When the officer asks the warden to lower his voice, he shouts back: “You don’t tell me what to do, you’ve gave me enough fines in the past.”
Needless to say, the video has people feeling all the feels, with one person responding to the clip saying: “This is the most entertaining thing I’ve seen all year,” and another echoing: “Amazing.”
A third person added: “This man has been waiting for a VERY LONG TIME to do this lol. He really sought vengeance that day,” while a fourth said: “Mad respect to the traffic warden.”

“Lol omg how do I download this?” tweeted a fifth social media user, with another saying: “That wardens going THROUGH it but fair play to him for not letting the copper get away with double standards.”
However, lots of other people were certain the footage was set up, with one person bluntly replying: “Fake.”
“It's not real and emergency vehicles don't have to abide by parking laws. Imagine you're in your house dying but they can't come to you cos they can't find legal parking LOL,” noted another Twitter user, while someone else said: “Nice skit but you can tell it’s fake.”

“Love this, fake or not, police officers do stuff like this all the time,” tweeted someone else.
Unfortunately, the sceptics were correct and the footage was a set up, as confirmed to Kent Online by Maidstone Borough Council.
The Council said in a statement: “This is not one of our enforcement officers as they wear reflective tabards and baseball caps."
