At the end of 2024, AI recreations of Baba Vanga and Nostradamus made some eery predictions for 2025.
But how do they compare to the actual predictions made by the mysterious psychics?
Even though Baba Vanga died in 1996 (for which she even predicted the day), she’s had some astonishing success with her abilities.

She predicted the 9/11 attacks, Brexit and even Princess Diana’s death.
Meanwhile, French astrologer, Michel de Nostredame - also known as Nostradamus - became famous with Les Prophéties - a collection of predictions - back in 1555.
Here, we've listed Baba Vanga and Nostradamus' actual predictions and how they compare to the (equally terrifying) AI versions.
Baba Vanga's predictions
War in Europe
It's said that Baba Vanga predicted that a war will break out in Europe this year which will be big enough to 'devastate' the entire continent and its population.

In contrast, the AI recreation has claimed that the Russian-Ukrainian war could reach a turning point after Ukraine is predicted to launch a large-scale attack in the middle of the year - which will apparently see Ukraine win.
Aliens
Apparently, 2025 is the year that humans will learn more about alien life - and it's going to coincide with a major sporting event.
It's not clear which sport, but Baba Vanga reportedly had some big things predicted for Lewis Hamilton.

It's said the blind mystic 'believed' 2025 will be the year for Hamilton as his move to Ferrari will see him win his eighth title in 2025 and overtake Michael Schumacher.
In contrast, according to AI Baba Vanga, this year it really is coming home, with The Three Lions apparently going to win in a major international football tournament, potentially the UEFA Nations League.
We're not sure what this will mean for the aliens, however.
Human telepathy
Baba Vanga reportedly thought telepathy - AKA the idea that we can read each other's minds - could become a real thing in 2025.

Unfortunately, AI Baba Vanga didn't have much to say on the matter, so we think the mystic seer could be off the mark with this one.
Lab-grown human organs
In what could be a pretty exciting development for science, Baba Vanga predicted that 2025 could be the year we see human organs grown in labs.
The AI recreation hasn't predicted the same, but with some incredible medical advancements taking place in 2024, maybe this will one day be a reality?

One of the biggest differences between Baba Vanga's predictions and those created via AI, is the focus on politics and the royal family.

While Baba Vanga didn't predict much in the way of politics for the coming year, the AI recreation has predicted that King Charles III will majorly downsize the royal estate, meanwhile, Donald Trump could have a health scare and Keir Starmer could face an onslaught of criticism of his policies by the end of this year.
Nostradamus' predictions
Conflict in global politics
Astrologer Nostradamus believed that 'great powers will clash' and some think this is a nod to what is currently going on in politics, with the threat of nuclear war.
He said there would be 'a decrease in the influence of established Western countries and the emergence of new world powers'.
It could correlate to the predictions made by an AI version of Nostradamus, too.
According to The Sun, which used Chat GPT to create an AI Nostradamus, the bot claimed in 2025, countries will begin 'intensifying cyber-operations' and creating 'silent wars' through the use of technology.
A war in England and the return of the plague
Nostradamus predicted that the UK would see a great plague as well as a huge war, writing: "When those from the lands of Europe, see England set up her throne behind. Her flanks, there will be cruel wars.
"The kingdom will be marked by wars so cruel, foes from within and without will arise. A great pestilence from the past returns, no enemy more deadly under the skies."
The good news is that AI Nostradamus has predicted a remedy could be on the cards, explaining: "Through flame and agony, a remedy shall rise to confront a disease that has haunted humanity for long.
"An ailment of stealth, elusive and silent, known by its weakening of the body’s own forces - watch as breakthroughs in 2025 give new hope."
But when it comes to conflict in Britain, the bot added: "Calls for change may grow louder as economic and social pressures mount.
"Bringing the potential for an early election or leadership challenge."
The Ukraine and Russia war comes to an end
According to Nostradamus, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine could be coming to an end.
"Through long war all the army exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon," he wrote.
AI Nostradamus has something to say on the matter too, claiming: "2025 may be a year of internal turbulence for Putin, as fractures appear within his realm.
"Social and political unrest could rise as the people grow weary of stringent policies, economic challenges, and persistent international pressure."
End of the world
Nostradamus also predicted a massive asteroid destroying the world in 2025.
"From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, A harbinger of fate, the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance, The fate of the Earth, a second chance,” he wrote.
It's probably not good that AI Nostradamus has predicted the return of a 'long-forgotten celestial body'.
"Many will see it as a mere spectacle, yet some will call it a sign of cosmic awakening," it said.
Disaster in the Amazon
The astrologer predicted volcano eruptions and floods in Brazil as climate change continues to be a threat - but luckily, AI Nostradamus hasn't said much about this.
