Baba Vanga's 2025 prediction that has already come true after foreseeing a 'devastating global event'

As always, we're in for a rough ride

Here are the terrifying predictions that Baba Vanga, Bulgaria's living Nostradamus, and the actual Nostradamus - aka, the harbingers of doom - believed would happen in 2025.

Baba Vanga, real name Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, may have died in 1996, but her dismal predictions about the future of mankind and all the different horrible ways in which we could die live on.

Like every sacred prophecy uttered by these self-proclaimed psychics, there's nothing but doom and misery forecasted for mankind, served up in a proclamation which is vague enough to be applied to various different events.

After all, even you or I could predict a 'grave catastrophe' every January and be safe in the knowledge that something bad would happen in the following 365 days.

So without any further ado, let's unpack the 'devastating' predictions which Vanga and co made for 2025 — including the ones which have reportedly come true.

Have any of Baba Vanga's 2025 predictions actually happened?

Ever the optimist, the blind clairvoyant is said to have predicted 'that 2025 would bring shattering earthquakes', which many are linking to the powerful 7.7-magnitude quake which struck Myanmar and Thailand at the end of March.

The deadly quake has shattered an already war-torn Myanmar, with reports confirming over 3,000 casualties. The south-east Asian nations have since been rocked by further tremors in recent days, while the Pacific island of Tonga was also hit with a 5.3-magnitude earthquake.

Natural disasters aren't the only prediction of Vanga's which appear to have come true, with the New York Post claiming the late Bulgarian mystic had foreseen a 'worldwide economic disaster' on the cards for 2025.

Which could easily be linked to Donald Trump's disastrous 'Liberation Day' tariffs and subsequent economic war with China.

So what else is on the cards for 2025?

War in Europe

Considering her turbulent upbringing in a region peppered by wars and collapsing empires (she held three different citizenships during her lifetime due to changing political borders) a prediction of war from Vanga shouldn't be a surprising one.

Of course, war is already going on in the European continent, however Vanga believes this one with 'devastate' nations. Her prediction also aligns with one from infamous French philosopher Nostradamus, who claimed (per The Daily Star) that 'the lands of Europe' would become entangled in 'cruel wars'.

Well, ain't that wonderful?

Cyberattacks and the rise of AI

These warnings come from Brazilian clairvoyant Athos Salomé, who previously claimed to have predicted the wildfires which ravaged the US state of California at the start of the year.

The Brazilian, who is the only living 'prophet' dishing out predictions here, has reportedly stated that China will interfere with underwater cables, which are the 'invisible arteries of global communication' leading to a 'collapse in international communications, destabilising economies, financial systems and military networks'.

As for the original Nostradamus, his other predictions for 2025 are even more bleak, with the 16th-century seer saying a 'fireball' would rise from space, leading to a 'cosmic dance' of science and fate.
