There are two types of people in the world: those who embrace Halloween and those who close the curtains and hide, trying desperately to avoid trick or treaters.
One man who is certainly in the first category is this chap, who takes it very seriously:
For the past few years, Michael Roberts has been giving the kids of Swansea sleepless nights with his terrifying stunts.

Whenever 31 October comes around, the local youths - and even their parents - are wary of approaching his house, unsure of what lies in store for them. And last night was no different.
As well as covering his home with all manner of sinister decorations, the 48-year-old decided to play fancy dress.
Forgoing the standard 'boo' offered to the little kiddies who knock on the door, Michael went a step - or maybe 12 - further.
Picking out a dark blue boiler suit and the terrifying Michael Myers mask, he went on an absolute rampage.

In one clip, the overexcited dad can be seen creeping out of his house, in full costume, stalking the pavements of the Welsh city.
At one point, he even walks straight into the middle of the road and stands in front of a bus, blocking its path.
It should also be noted here that he does this while holding a knife - all be it fake, I hope.

I mean, if I were the driver, I would not have stopped. Not a chance in hell. I've seen enough horror films to know that this kind of scenario never ends well.
But the driver bravely holds his gaze, before Michael eventually moves out of the way, blade in hand.
Speaking to LADbible, his son, Liam, said this is nothing new, and the locals are all too familiar with his antics.
"He does this every year and it gets better and better every year," he says proudly.

"He has become the talk of my area he also dresses up as Santa for the kids around the area at Christmas time.
"I've got videos of people's reactions when my dad answered the door to them - kids did come around but word got around and they were scared before even knocking the door, even the parents.
"On the ring doorbell footage, you can see the parents pushing their kids in front of them and getting rather creeped out themselves."

Even Liam says he's lucky not to have been paid a visit by the Old Bill. I mean, he has a point.
But Michael's already thinking about next year's outfit, which his son promises to be just as frightening.
"He’s planning on dressing up as Pennywise or Jason from Friday the 13th," Liam reveals.
Reckon some people might give his house a miss next time round.
