A man was left in fear for his life after waking up to find what he believed were signs of skin cancer.
Luckily – and hilariously – it turned out to be something quite different.
Here he is telling his story on Australian radio.
TikTok and radio star Joshua Fox believed that he had skin cancer after he woke up to discover a set of brown 'moles’ on his torso.

Obviously, living in Australia as he does, he started to fear the worst.
Aussies are encouraged to check themselves all the time for signs of skin cancer, as living in that climate makes it a much greater risk.
However, having only been there for six years, Josh wasn’t aware that he had to be regularly checking.
Here, he takes up the story.

“One morning, this is last Thursday, I wake up for work and I’ve got…there was like a cluster of moles near my bellybutton.
“I’m Googling and if they suddenly appear, because I’d been in the sun the day before with my shirt off, and the diagnosis when you Google is not good.
“Then, I make the appointment, I get there [and] he’s slowly going around the body.

“He finally gets to them, and he’s taking a minute to kind of look, and he’s like ‘oh, I’m not quite sure’.
“And then he goes, ‘I think it’s chocolate. I think it’s chocolate or something'.”
Wait, what?

Yes, the doctor discovered that what his patient had thought was evidence of skin cancer was just chocolate all along.
Relief, sweet embarrassing relief.
Josh continued: “And [then] he gets a wet wipe and just wipes them off.”
As Kyle and Jackie O cracked up, the questions started to flood in.

“So, you didn’t shower for two days?” the hosts asked.
“It was a Flake you’d dropped in your bed the night before?”
Josh responded: “It was Crème Egg.”
Well, at least he doesn’t actually have skin cancer, and he’s now got a story that he can have a good laugh about.
The people who have since watched the video have had a laugh about it, too.
“This is one of those stories you should keep to yourself,” said one.
“At least it made [him] get his skin checked,” said another.
“That deadly chocolate will get you every time,” commented a third.
The moral of the story is this – get your skin checked for signs of skin cancer if you live anywhere that is hot.
Actually f*** it, get it checked anyway, if you can.
But, also make sure that you’re checking that you’ve not got chocolate on you when you get up in the morning.
Perhaps have a shower before going to ask a doctor to give you a body check, too.
It’s just good courtesy, dude.
