There's nothing like a good old optical illusion to sharpen your problem-solving skills, is there?
The brain teasers allow you to put the power of your mind - and eyesight - to the test, while helping us understand how humans interpret visual information.
Your eyes and brain work together to interpret whatever is in front of them, however, these organs are thrown for a loop when there is an optical illusion on display.

Obi-Wan Kenobi said it best in 1977's Star Wars when he mused: "Your eyes can deceive you, don't trust them."
Take this photo of these six friends for example, who later discovered an uninvited guest had seemingly invaded their selfie in this strange optical illusion.
Then there's the snap of four pals drinking whisky, which baffled a lot of people as they could only spot three of them.

Or take a look at this terrifying image and see if you can spot the scary woman lurking in it, unlike the majority of social media users.
But this optical illusion is the one which takes the title of top dog, as people have been left stumped by what's going on with this supposed 'pet owner'.
At first glance, the image which was shared on Reddit seems to show two pups enjoying a snowy walk while what appears to be a hooded figure stands beside them.
You can't see much else of the owner, except from that they look as though they have a big coat on and have their hands stuffed in their pockets.

However, not everything is as it seems... as there actually isn't a human in the image at all.
If you're struggling, you will want to have another glance at the alleged dog owner - as you will probably pick up on the fact that it's actually a third animal.
Yep, that's not a full grown person, as it is actually a fluffy black dog who is facing towards the camera.

Don't worry if you didn't spot it though, because a host of Reddit users admitted they couldn't work it out either.
One said: "Wow. I certainly saw a man on the left. Crazy!"
Another added: "Ohhhh snap that got me good! Nice one!"
A third joked: "An example of why eye witnesses can be unreliable."

And a fourth wrote: "I see a person and two dogs."
However, there were a few self-proclaimed smarty pants who claimed that they managed to spot the third dog quite quickly.
One explained: "The 'head' is actually the tail, and the 'legs' are the front paws. It's just blurry enough to make it look like a human from the right angle."
A second said: "It’s not a person, it’s a third dog. A black poodle."
Someone else commented: "All I saw was the black poodle and two other dogs. No matter how hard I look, I don’t see a person!"
While a fourth chimed in: "Took me about two minutes to finally see the person. Somehow tilting my head up slightly helped."
How did you get on?
