Your ex might have called you a psychopath during a row once before, but have you ever wondered if they were right?
Well, you can now put that worry to bed by simply trying to decipher this disturbing riddle.
Apparently, your answer can determine whether you are a crackpot like Patrick Bateman in American Psycho or if you're more similar to his wide-eyed secretary Jean, who doesn't share the same murderous tendencies as her boss.
Usually, working out a riddle all by yourself is a cause for celebration - but if you answer this one correctly, it's said to indicate that you think like a psychopath, and therefore could be a psychopath.

You know what they say; if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck...
If only someone had managed to sit Bateman (Christian Bale) down and test his riddle solving skills, we could have saved ourselves a whole lot of blood and gore.
Then again, I suppose it's his ability to conceal his double life - as a wealthy investment banker by day and a serial killer by night - and to hide his bloodlust from everyone around him which makes him such a psychopath.
So, what are we waiting for? Let's try and weed out the Patrick Bateman's-in-the-making while we still have time.

The riddle reads:
While at her own mother’s funeral, a woman meets a guy she doesn’t know.
She thinks this guy is amazing - her dream man - and is pretty sure he could be the love of her life.

However, she never asked for his name or number and afterwards could not find anyone who knows who he was.
A few days later the girl kills her own sister.
Why did she do it?
There are obviously many reasons the girl may have murdered her own kin while falling head over heels for a funeral guest, but obviously dating and death don't typically go hand in hand.

I was left stumped by it, so I'm sitting here pretty smug with the knowledge that I'm not a psychopath.
How about you? Have you managed to work out the motive for her bumping her sibling off?
If you guessed that she did it in the hopes that the mystery dreamboat would now show up at her sister's funeral so that she can see him again, you're absolutely right. And, apparently, a psychopath.

Obviously, a medical professional is the only one who can definitively confirm this diagnosis, but it's something to think about all the same.
