When you're head over heels in love, your other half can do no wrong.
But if you take off your rose-tinted glasses for a second, you will soon start to realise that they are human too and aren't actually perfect - in fact, they might be downright disgusting.
We've all got the dreaded ick at some point or another and it can really make you look at your partner a lot differently.
As I'm sure you can imagine, a lot of us just put up with our SO's quirks to avoid upsetting them.

So to get their feelings off their chest, Reddit users started a thread to discuss the 'grossest things' people have noticed their significant other doing which they have now grown to 'accept'.
And blimey, did people vent.
Among the complaints about blokes picking their nose and ladies leaving their bedrooms a mess, there was one really nauseating habit which left social media users less than impressed.

One man in the thread explained that his girlfriend is a pretty frugal and environmentally friendly kind of woman, but her efforts to avoid wasting water have now transcended into her toilet trips too - and he isn't keen on it.
He said that she is particularly reluctant to flush the toilet, especially when 'it's just pee', so she came up with a weird way to get around it.
The post continued: "So she will allow a day's worth of pee to accumulate, only for me to have to flush when I get home from work.
"I tell her all the time to flush every three pees, but I'm apparently the default toilet flusher for number ones."

People had a lot of questions about her unusual bathroom conduct, however, it seems to be more popular than you might think - as a host of other Reddit users then gave their two pence about the water saving hack.
There were plenty of anecdotes from people explaining they had noticed their partner's following a similar pattern, but there was one main question everyone had for the bloke about his other half's 'nasty' habit.
"Doesn't it reek?"

Another Redditor plucked up the courage to answer the inquiry and explained that it 'definitely does' pong.
He wrote: "It depends on what she drank though, if it was mostly just water, it shouldn't smell too much.
"But if she has a bad diet and drinks lots of soft drinks and maybe even alcohol (like beer) then it definitely stinks, yeah."
If stockpiling their p*ss in the toilet bowl isn't grounds for a break up, I don't know what is.
