A scientist claims he's found the actual location of the Garden of Eden.
It's the paradise where Adam and Eve, the first humans frolicked and enjoyed life free from the need to wear clothes until a treacherous serpent convinced Eve to chow down on an apple from the Tree of Knowledge.
She then shared some with Adam, and they came to realise they were naked, making clothes out of leaves to cover themselves with and tried to hide when God showed up.

Adam told Big-G it was Eve's fault, while Eve said it was the serpent's fault and the man in the sky decided to curse all three of them and boot the first two humans out of his lovely garden before they decided to eat from the Tree of Eternal Life.
Since then, the actual location of the Garden of Eden has been the subject of much debate, including as to whether it ever actually existed or not.

In the bible (the actual one, not the LAD one), it says in Genesis that a river ran from the Garden of Eden and split into four rivers, two of which run through what was Mesopotamia and is Iraq in modern times.
It reads: "And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became four heads.
"The name of the first is Pishon; that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

"And the name of the second river is Gihon; the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Cush. And the name of the third river is Tigris; that is it which goeth toward the east of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates."
We don't know where the Pishon and Gihon are supposed to be, but the rivers Tigris and Euphrates are located in modern day Iraq so most put the location somewhere around there.
However, a scientist has claimed that it's actually in Egypt.
Computer scientist Dr Konstantin Borisov has published a study which claims that the Garden of Eden, which has no physical evidence of ever actually existing, is located in Egypt and the Gihon river is actually the Nile.

He even claims that the Great Pyramid of Giza is built on the spot where the Tree of Eternal Life once stood.
Dr Borisov cited old maps which depicted a river called 'Oceanus' that surrounded the world and at the top was 'Paradise', the Garden of Eden.
He reckons this means he's cracked what the other two rivers mentioned are, saying: "By examining a map from around 500 BC, it becomes apparent that the only four rivers emerging from the encircling Oceanus are the Nile, Tigris, Euphrates and Indus."
Others have come up with their own opinions on the supposed location of the Garden of Eden, however.
The Mormons, at least as far as I can glean from the musical Book of Mormon (which is surely an accurate source), think it was located somewhere near Jackson County, Missouri.

Elsewhere, some scientists think they've found evidence for Noah's Ark.
