Social media users are taking to X to share some of the worst presents they have received today, and they are hilariously bad.
While Christmas is known as the perfect time for giving, some people are quite impressively bad at putting together a good gift.
While you should be grateful for anything you receive from a friend or family member, some gifts are so bad, it is shocking.

I can guarantee you would struggle to hide your disappointment if you had to open these Christmas presents in front of your family.
An X user encouraged his followers to share some of the less-than-ideal presents they received this year.
“Good morning people and it’s finally the day, the moment we’ve been waiting for all year “s*** Christmas prezzy day!” So get round to your nans and collect your prezzy and be in with a chance of winning this years prestigious shite award,” they wrote on an X post.

Sharing their gifts, followers showed they had received everything from a garlic presser to trolley bags.
“I got a 10 piece lynx set.... its growing every year ffs, what next? A 12 piece set then 14??????? When will it end!!!!!,” joked one user.
“One of my pals has ended up with this bad boy,” said another as they shared a picture of an inflatable girlfriend he received.... from his mum. At that not-so-subtle hint, it might mean the fella needs to get out there a bit.

“Mate got a battery organizer,” said another. I suppose that is what you buy the man that has everything except somewhere to store his massive battery collection.
“Custom tomato sauce,” another said. Maybe not the most traditional present but social media users loved the idea, and appreciated it even had his name on it.
“Half a pack of socks, dad got the other half... cheers nan,” said another which many users thought was sweet.
“I’ve won. Cello taped together in a Crimbo gift bag. Nice one nan,” joked another sharing a picture of the sweet treat.
Nans certainly mean well, even if they aren’t always the best at gift giving, so the thought certainly does count.

Purse strings have also been tight for many this year, so better to laugh about it the odd presents then hold grudges.
