Considering Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston see themselves as family, so it's no surprise they still find kissing each other 'weird' – and they each have their own complaints about their techniques.
The pair play on-screen couple Audrey and Nick Spitz in Netflix's Murder Mystery 2, the brand new sequel to their 2019 action-comedy about a couple who get caught up in the murder of an elderly billionaire.
In the sequel, which dropped today (31 March), the duo are now full-time detectives trying to get their private eye agency off the ground.

Per the official synopsis: "Amid their business struggles, they find themselves at the centre of an international scandal: Their friend, the Maharajah, is kidnapped at his own wedding."
While they had a blast filming the scenes for the new flick, there were also a few awkward moments due to the nature of their characters' relationship.
Sitting down with The Project TV, the pair were asked about what it's like to play a romantic couple and have to kiss each other.

"It's always a little weird," said Aniston, before Sandler chimed in, "I'll always say sorry before and after."
And he's not exaggerating, either.
The Friends star went on: "You apologise for the entire day, the night before, the day after."

In a separate conversation with USA Today, the duo roasted each other's kissing techniques, with the outlet highlighting an awkward encounter from the first film.
Aniston had a request for the Happy Gilmore comedian before they locked lips - oil up the beard.
"I did have him learn to oil the beard up a little bit," she said, which anyone with sensitive skin will understand.
But during their second outing, Sandler had a hilarious request of his own.

He told the publication that he asked her to 'keep her mouth closed', joking: "It was so wide! Every time, she’d come with a big, wide mouth, and I'd be like, 'Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho, whoa! What are we doing?'"
Well, that's one way to get revenge for her previous critique.
Now that Murder Mystery 2 is out, no doubt fans will be tuning in over the weekend.

It will be interesting to see if it's as popular as the original, which, according to Netflix, saw a whopping 73 million households watching the flick within the first four weeks of its release.
Although it received mixed reviews from the critics, it clearly went down a treat with viewers at home.
