Social media users have voiced their disgust after clips of Howard Stern trying to pressure Anna Nicole Smith to weigh herself live on air have resurfaced.
The former Playboy model - who died from an accidental drug overdose when she was just 39 - has been back in the headlines recently after the release of Netflix documentary Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me.
The hard-hitting doc looks back on Smith’s modelling career and marriage to billionaire J Howard Marshall when he was 86 and she was just 23.

And in the wake of the documentary, social media users have been appalled by the way Smith is treated by veteran radio presenter Howard Stern in resurfaced footage from a 2002 interview.
On the show, Stern tried to pressure Smith to weigh herself live on air, calling her a ‘heavy set woman’.
He continues: "So I was guessing your weight, and I was going to say, today, can you please get on the scale? And then we'll have an over-under, that's all."

Smith responds: "I'm not going to get on a scale for you to weigh me."
After guessing she weighs 300lbs, Stern continues to pressure Smith to step on the scales, saying: “I’ll show you my penis, if, err….”
Smith stands her ground, refusing to get on the scales.
One of Stern’s co-hosts John adds: “Anna, just get on the scale, we all have bets. We’ve all been on it. Just get on the scale.”

Another of Stern’s colleagues Benjy then steps in to defend Smith and ends up storming out.
The clip has been doing the rounds on TikTok, appearing in one compilation showing Stern making other controversial comments about Sofía Vergara and Courtney Love.
One commenter called Stern ‘the 90s Andrew Tate’.

Another said: “The last clip is just outrageous!! No way he said ‘get on the scale’.”
A third said: “The way he spoke to Anna Nicole Smith hit me in a diff way as a bigger woman. I don’t know who he thinks he is to talk to women in this way.”
One TikTok user, however, argued Stern had since changed his ways, writing: “People commenting haven’t heard his show in a long time. These clips are ancient. He’s the first to say he wasn’t very nice early on.”
LADbible has contacted The Howard Stern Show for a comment.
