One in particular is Vicki Lawrence who worked alongside White on The Carol Burnett Show and Mama's Family.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Vicki revealed how she was told what White said before she passed and it's definitely hitting some people in the feels.

The 72-year-old explained: "I hadn’t been able to reach her lately. I wrote her a long letter a while back but she did not answer, which was unlike her.

"I knew she was not well, and this was coming, but it was still sad not to hear from her.

"I talked to Carol yesterday, and we agreed it is so f*****g hard to watch the people you love go away.

"She said she spoke to Betty’s assistant, who was with her when she passed, and she said the last word out of her mouth was 'Allen'. That’s so lovingly sweet. I hope that is true."

White was married to Allen Ludden from 1963 until his death from cancer in 1981.

Announcing the news of her death, and the cause, Betty's agent - Jeff Witjas - said: "Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home.

"People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier but that is not true. She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized - that is not the life she lived."

Betty was preparing to turn 100 on 17 January and had a big birthday celebration planned.

Jeff told the world: "Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever.

"I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don't think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden.

"She believed she would be with him again."
