The singer of Brass Against was given a very clear instruction on the opening night of the band’s tour – the stage is strictly a ‘no pee zone’.
You may remember Sophia Urista from when she made headlines last year for peeing on a member of the crowd during a performance of Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Wake Up’. Check it out:
After telling the crowd she needed to wee, instead of holding it in, Sophia invited a fan on stage, asked him to lie down with an empty beer can taped to his face and then proceeded to pull her pants down and wee on his face... all the while continuing to sing.

It was a bizarre moment, and one that even the singer herself admitted was a step ‘too far’.
Following an apology, it appeared she’d learned her lesson, but just to make sure it didn’t happen again, a little reminder not to pee on the stage was left for Brass Against as they kicked off their European tour last weekend.
The band are currently on tour with Tool, with their first gig going down in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday, 23 April.

As said by Consequence Heavy, Tool are known for playing pranks on their support acts, so they very much could be responsible for the ‘no pee zone’ sign, which reads: “No urine is to be deposited, placed, distributed, sprinkled, poured and/or spread in this immediate area.”
Thankfully Sophia saw the funny side of it, sharing a pic of the note on Twitter while simply writing ‘#tool #copenhagen’.
Dozens of people flocked to the comments section, with one writing, “It said in this immediate area. Anywhere outside the sign is fine,” alongside a laughing face emoji.
Another quipped, “I mean, that’s just a dare isn’t it?”, while a third added, “That’s funny on so many levels!! A warning, a dare, a tribute, an invitation, or all at once!!”
While fans might laugh about the situation now, at the time many branded the whole thing ‘disgusting’, leading to Brass Against releasing a statement to address the issue.

On the band’s Twitter page, they wrote: “We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away. That's not something the rest of us expected, and it's not something you'll see again at our shows.
“Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
Sophia also responded to the backlash, writing in a statement shared on her Instagram page: "I want to speak to my performance at Rockville metal festival in Daytona.

"I have always pushed the limits in music and on stage. That night, I pushed the limits too far.
"I love my family, the band, and the fans more than anything and I know that some were hurt or offended by what I did. I apologize to them and want them to know that I didn't mean to hurt them.
"I am not a shock artist. I always want to put the music first. I'm grateful for all of your continued love and support."
