It's been more than 25 years since George Of The Jungle was released, and Brendan Fraser has appeared in a whole host of iconic movies since then, but he still holds a grudge against the monkey.
If you know George Of The Jungle, then I'm sure you know the monkey. It opens up to George about its problems after being outcast from its monkey friends, and then somehow scares off a lion by screaming at it, much to the delight of George and his love interest Ursula.
But in real life, the monkey was not such a delight. Hear Fraser explain why:
The actor vented his frustrations about working with the monkey during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show last night (20 January), where he appeared alongside stars from Steven Spielberg's upcoming film The Fabelmans.

Norton made a connection between Fraser and The Fabelmans as he explained that both films featured the same monkey; a Hollywood star named Crystal.
Crystal has racked up quite the CV over the years, having been cast in American Pie, Malcolm in the Middle, Night At The Museum, The Hangover Part II and We Bought A Zoo, but Norton noted that her very first role was in George Of The Jungle.
Crystal is credited for her work on the 1997 film, but Fraser didn't exactly sing her praises when he realised who they were talking about.

"It was that b****!," he yelled, adding: "I knew it was her!"
Crystal wasn't the only monkey on set to scar the actor, as he explained that he typically worked with 'Crystal's boyfriend, Mr Binx' while making George Of The Jungle.
Mr Binx sounded like a menace of a co-star, as Fraser described how he would 'throw a fit and disappear into the rafters if he didn't get the take that he wanted'.
It wasn't just the acting that Mr Binx would get frustrated with, though. He apparently also enjoyed getting up to some very NSFW monkey business.

Fraser explained: "Mr Binx was a boy monkey, he had to wear a boy bikini and he would get frustrated occasionally and rip it off, disappear into the ceiling and start jacking it."
The actor made clear that Mr Binx 'couldn't give a flying f**k', which is fair, considering he's a monkey, but he certainly left his mark on Fraser.
With that story in mind, there's probably a reason why Mr Binx doesn't appear to have racked up quite as many acting credits as the well-established Crystal. According to IMDb, George of the Jungle was his last project after previously having worked on the Ace Ventura movies.
