Cara Delevingne breaks silence after awkward Martin Brundle F1 grid snub
Cara Delevingne has responded after an awkward encounter with Martin Brundle in which she appeared to snub the F1 pundit's attempts for an interview ahead of the British Grand Prix.
The model was one of numerous stars wandering the grid ahead of the event at Silverstone yesterday (9 July), so former racer Brundle tried to catch up with her as part of his live coverage for Sky Sports.

Footage from the Grand Prix shows Brundle chatting to someone with Delevingne in the background, saying: "She doesn't want to talk? But everybody has to talk on the grid. That's the deal now, everybody talks on the grid."
Brundle then decided to shoot his shot, in spite of already being told no. He approaching Delevingne, saying: "Can we have a quick chat? Sky F1, good to see you on the grid."
Persistence didn't pay off in this case, as Delevingne didn't seem to be in the mood.
"No," she responded bluntly, and repeatedly.
The pundit went on to argue 'the deal is everybody has to speak on the grid', but Delevingne then claimed she 'couldn't hear' what he was saying.
Disgruntled, Brundle walked off with a savage, sarcastic quip, saying: "All right, well I’m sure it would have been extremely interesting."
Delevingne came under fire after the encounter was shared online, with one F1 fan accusing her of 'garbage behaviour'.
Another wrote: "What is Cara Delevingne doing on the F1 grid if she refuses to talk? Get someone who actually appreciates F1."
Other Twitter users have stuck up for the 30-year-old, with one person arguing the icy atmosphere had been created on purpose.
"At this point, Martin Brundle is just doing it to manufacture the moment for the controversy of it all," they wrote.
"You can clearly see the PR rep tell him 'no' and shake his head when he goes up towards Cara Delevingne. He had an out and he chose not to take it to make a statement."
Delevingne responded to the comment, saying: "I was told to say no so I did. Thank you for seeing both sides xxx"
When another user responded to say her agent didn't 'rule' her, and Delevingne could have chosen to speak anyway, she responded: "It wasn’t an agent, it was an F1 representative."
In a follow-up post, she added: "Anyway, I had so much fun today and was so happy to be there no matter what anyone else may think x."
