One couple had a guest star at their baby's gender reveal over the weekend... the one and only Adele.
The 35-year-old was performing her Las Vegas residency show at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace when she spotted a sign in the crowd.
Chris Dare and Shantelle Lord, a couple who are expecting a baby, held up a sign that read: “Adele, will you do our gender reveal?”

The couple's doctor had handed them a letter with their baby's sex on it six weeks before the concert, but they held off opening it, hoping they could get the singer involved in the moment.
The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer called the couple to the stage and told them she was very impressed that they had managed to sneak the sign into the concert.
“No one’s really allowed signs in here. I’m just obsessed that you got one in," the singer said.
She then asked the couple whether there was anything she could do to make the moment even more special for them.

“I’m just honoured that you’re going to do this for us,” Lord replied. “We’ve known since 12 weeks and we have been waiting for this moment.”
Adele then sat down beside the couple, took her shoes off and announced to the crowd: “Shantelle and Chris are having a baby… boy!”
The mum-of-one then got a little bit emotional.

“That was amazing, I’m so happy for you," she told the couple before she burst into tears. “That’s so emotional, oh my god.
“If and when I get pregnant, will you do my gender reveal? At the shower, I’ll have you back and you can do it."
Adele welcomed her son Angelo Adkins with her ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2012. He is now 10 years old. The pair finalised their divorce in March, 2021.
Last year, she told Desert Island Discs: “I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I’ve got Angelo. I just want to be happy.”

She also told The Graham Norton Show that she started her residency last year because she was hoping to have a baby with her current partner Rich Paul this year.
"I want a baby next year," she said during an appearance on the British chat show.
She added: "I have plans next year! I have plans. Imagine if I have to cancel the shows because I'm having a baby."
