Leaked Justin Baldoni voice recording reveals details about 'ridiculous' incident at It Ends With Us premiere

An audio message from Justin Baldoni during the It Ends with Us premiere claims that he 'wasn't allowed to be seen'

A new leaked voice recording reveals Justin Baldoni speaking about an incident at the It Ends with Us premiere.

Baldoni, who directed and co-starred in the 2024 film opposite Blake Lively, has become embroiled in a legal dispute with the actress.

Earlier this week, his attorney claimed that Ryan Reynolds added an 'inside joke' about Baldoni into his blockbuster superhero film Deadpool & Wolverine.

The claim comes after a lawsuit filed by Lively against Baldoni in December 2024, as the former alleged sexual harassment as well as a campaign of 'social manipulation' against her.

Lively's legal representatives also claimed that Baldoni was already in the process of launching his own lawsuit against her, after being among the plaintiffs of a $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times.

The news publication were responsible for making Lively's lawsuit public, which alleged libel and false-light invasion of privacy.

Following this, Lively then filed another lawsuit against Baldoni and his team, this time in a federal court in New York.

More formal than the first, this suit demands 'punitive' and 'compensatory' damages as well as a jury trial, and her legal representatives have said they look forward to resolving the matter in court.

Baldoni has denied all the claims made against him.

Now, a voice note from Baldoni has been made public, where he claimed that he was made to 'go to a basement' with loved ones during the premiere of his film.

First released on The Megyn Kelly Show on Tuesday (7 January), Baldoni can be heard addressing his editing team.

"On what could have been one of the most beautiful nights of my life career wise, I literally was sent to the basement with all my friends and family for over an hour because I wasn't allowed to be seen, she didn't want me anywhere near her or the rest of the cast," the actor began.

"So they ushered me off the carpet and sent us down to the basement, we were down there together, my friends and family, the people that love me the most."

He continued: "We start laughing because of the ridiculousness of this whole thing and I realize like on a night that was supposed to be so materialistically joyful, I was in the basement with the people that love me the most and we were all joyful and laughing cos none of that s**t matters, none of it.

"We're in this business because we're artists and we believe in what we do and I believe that will follow each of us, and that truth will prevail and that light and love will win."

Freedman was a guest on Tuesday's episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, and responded to claims from Lively that she was harassed by his client.

He said: "If she was sexually harassed to to such a degree in this film and in this situation... she wouldn't have returned to the film. They had sat down and they had talked about what her complaints were.

"The unfortunate thing is she actually didn't read the book and didn't understand what the book was about."

Speaking about claims that Baldoni's partner showed pornography, he claimed: "What Jamey Heath showed her was a still video of a home birth because they were discussing a scene about birthing and you know that's not pornography."

He revealed that Baldoni's team will also: "Put every single document on a website for the public to read and come to their own conclusions, and they can determine whether or not there was sexual harassment, whether there there was a smear campaign or there was retaliation because we have proof and receipts that absolutely and unequivocally show this is not true."

Freedman concluded: "We are releasing all of the evidence which will show a pattern of bullying and threats to take over the movie.

"None of this will come as a surprise because consistent with her past behavior Blake Lively used other people to communicate those threats and bully her way to get whatever she wanted.

"We have all the receipts and more."
