Blake Lively gives perfect response to rumours of divorce from Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively has given a pretty comprehensive response to rumours that she and Ryan Reynolds are set to divorce.

Settle down, folks, they're not splitting up and these are baseless rumours that swirl around on the internet.

Yep it's not true, comes from very dubious origins and collapses the minute anyone who actually knows what's going on says something.

The celebrity couple have apparently committed the cardinal sin of not posting enough of each other on their social media profiles.

Yesterday (22 July), a fan commented on one of her Instagram posts to say: "You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple."

In this case you shouldn't believe every rumour you hear as Lively gave the response 'haha they wish'.

There you have it folks, all seems well in the world of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

If you have invested a portion of your emotional wellbeing into the couple staying together, then that's probably not a great thing to do in the first place, but at least your soul will be soothed by the knowledge that they're sticking together.

Besides, even if they're not constantly posting about each other, the couple interact plenty enough online.

He trolled her over her appearance at the Super Bowl, where she was hanging out with Taylor Swift while the trailer for his upcoming movie Deadpool and Wolverine played to the crowds.

She managed to get him back for that one, and she's been poking fun at her hubby while he's been on the press tour for the movie.

Lively joked that her husband was 'in serious trouble' over footage of him playing with a yellow water gun on the Deadpool & Wolverine press tour, and said he should call his movie Boys Gone Wild: A Deadpool and Wolverine Story.

Birthday roasts seem to be a bit of a tradition for the couple, which seems to be bad news for anyone egging on the rumours that they're going to split up so they can abscond with one of the couple.

Reynolds and Lively first met on the set of Green Lantern, so at least something good came out of that movie, and when they got together they tried to set up a rule where they wouldn't both be working at the same time so they can make sure their personal life works.
