Although we all know she's a fan of fireworks showing what they're worth and 'shooting across the sky', Katy Perry is still a bit on the fence about rockets doing the same thing.
The pop star, 40, is set to head up to space on Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket alongside a string of powerful women - including Lauren Sanchez and Gayle King - this spring.
But as the big day looms closer, it seems that the nerves are setting in for a few of the ladies.

The historic all-female crew hopped on a video call to chat about their upcoming trip on the unpiloted spacecraft and Perry confessed she was feeling a bit skittish.
Take a look at this:
Sanchez, 55, shared footage of the team's conversation in an Instagram post where she spoke of her excitement to head on the trip of a lifetime with such an 'incredible group of women'.

"I cannot wait to embark on this adventure together and inspire the next generation of explorers," the journalist, who is engaged to Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos, said.
"Excited to share our journey with you. This is just the beginning."
She will be joined by Perry, CBS presenter King, former rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flyn, and civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen on the star-studded space flight.
The celebrities' adventure into space, which is known as the NS-31 mission, will be the 11th time that humans have headed off in the New Shepard rocket and its 31st flight in total.

The rocket is fully autonomous, so there are no pilots at the helm, and according to Blue Origin, a trip on it typically lasts around 11 minutes.

Bezo's privately-funded space exploration company explains: "New Shepard is Blue Origin’s fully reusable, suborbital rocket system built for human flight from the beginning.
"During the 11-minute journey, astronauts soar past the Kármán line (100 km/62 miles), the internationally recognised boundary of space, experiencing several minutes of weightlessness and witnessing life-changing views of Earth."

Famous faces such as Star Trek actor William Shatner, Richard Branson, and Michael Strahan have previously embarked on similar trips on Bezos rockets.
But this time, it's an all-female affair.
After it was announced that Perry had a spot on the space flight, she said in a statement: "If you had told me I'd be part of the first all-female crew in space, I would have believed you. Nothing was beyond my imagination as a child."
Although she's supposedly been gearing up for something this extraordinary all her life, the singer confessed she's still got butterflies in her stomach about it.

During the video call discussing their space voyage, King asked: "Is anyone else nervous, or am I the only Nervous Nellie?"
Perry then responded: "I'll be a little nervous, but I'll be looking at y'all."
In an effort to get both her and Perry to take a chill pill, King then shared an inspirational quote with her fellow crew members.
The TV star, 70, added: "Eleanor Roosevelt said once, 'courage is doing something that scares you, but you do it anyway'.
"And I sort of look at it like that, about stepping out of my comfort zone and my box."
Flynn also offered some words of encouragement, saying: "We are pioneers. We're trailblazing this path to space for future generations."
Sanchez then added: "We're all going to come back with this profound love of Earth. And we're going to be able to share that with the world, and hopefully touch everyone in a small way, that they'll want to help save the planet."
