Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs paid his ex Cassie Ventura an eye-watering amount just 24 hours after she filed a rape, violent abuse and sex trafficking lawsuit against him.
This November 2023 lawsuit, which alleged 11 years of horrific treatment between 2007 and 2018, proved to be the catalyst for the police probe that would eventually bring down the music mogul, and Ventura has been heavily involved with the current tribunal that may land him in jail for life.

Her lawsuit accused Combs of regularly feeding her drugs and alcohol and forcing her to have sexual intercourse with male prostitutes, all whiles she claimed the hip-hop king filmed these 'freak-off' parties and allegedly masturbated in the corner of the room.
At yesterday's (May 14) court hearing, the singer and model revealed the millions she was paid in a silent settlement.

"Who paid you $20 million?" asked prosecutor Emily Johnson before finishing up her examination of the central witness.
"Sean and his companies," Ventura answered.

Finding the courage to leave him for good in 2018 - she went on to marry personal trainer Alex Fine a year later and the couple share two daughters - Ventura was then viciously raped one more time in her apartment.
This particular case against Combs saw him plead not guilty, yet shell out $20m out of court.

Addressing how the 'freak-offs' originally got started, Ventura revealed to the court this week: "Within the first year of our relationship, he proposed this idea. This sexual encounter that he called voyeurism where he would watch me be in intercourse with a third party, specifically with another man.
“Eventually it became a job for me, pretty much, so I knew if it was something he wanted me to do, I had the contacts to set it up and get a hotel room and all of that, but in the beginning, Sean set it up. He was in charge."
