A comedian has responded after a ticket website used a picture of a different person to sell tickets.
Dara Ó Briain is going on a US tour later this month, with tickets still available to some of the gigs.
Dara Ó Briain: So… Where Were We? has essentially been touring since 2021, having been performed across the likes of the UK, Europe and Australia and winning awards for Best Tour.

But as often happens with concerts and shows, tickets for the Irish star’s tour are being resold online.
And one site decided to use a photo of a random bald bloke rather that of bald Ó Briain to go alongside the tickets.
The Mock the Week host took to X to call out the reseller as he wrote: “Hey, events Ticket Centre!

“No idea who you are, reselling my tickets, but I feel you don’t know who I am either, judging by the photo. Probably best people just go to http://daraobriain.com for ticket details…”
The comedy star followed the post up with another warning for his fans about the random fella used by the site.
He wrote: “Reposting this for those who didn’t see it late last night. Warning: if you buy my tickets from a resell site, this is the guy who will turn up and do the show.”
As concerned fans wrote back, Ó Briain urged them that in general ‘it’s always best to go to the venue first’.

Other fans decided to join in with the fun as they joked about the photographed bald bloke: “Cheek of it. They haven’t even included your walking stick in the photo.”
Another slammed: “That looks less like you than the Mega Bus man," as others echoed: “Is that guy on US coaches too?”
Many joked: “Did they just do an AI image query of ‘bald man with microphone’ and picked the first one that came up.”

Plenty reckon it’s an ‘AI photo that’s been based off Ó Briain’s likeness’ as people pointed out that both a hand and the tie are ‘iffy’.
Others questioned: “I feel this Dara may have a slightly different approach to comedy?”
As one put: “They ordered a Dara Ó Briain from Wish.”
Some even joked it could be good for the comedian to have a clone as they put: “Think it through Dara. Double the dates, parallel tours, heists and you can be host & panellist on TV.”
