Sinéad O'Connor's savage response to Piers Morgan's invite to his show has resurfaced following her tragic death this week.
On Wednesday (26 July), the star's family announced the Irish singer had tragically passed away at 56, with a cause of death yet to be announced.
Tributes have come flooding in for the star, one of which came from TalkTV presenter, Piers Morgan.

When Piers went on to pay his own tributes to O’Connor - recalling their past conversations and mentioning his fondness for her no-nonsense approach - he probably didn’t think he’d end up having an embarrassing moment circle back around.
As well as paying tribute to the star on his show, the presenter also tweeted: "Wondrously gifted singer, and fiercely intelligent, highly amusing, complex, uncompromising, provocative woman with many demons. Knew her for 35 years & we had some ferocious spats but also some great Guinness-fuelled make-ups. She was a unique character. Sad day."
But this is when online users did what they usually do and dug up some dirt on the ex-Good Morning Britain host.

Last year, when O’Connor’s 17-year-old son passed away, Morgan requested the singer be interviewed on his TalkTV show to discuss his death.
However, the ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ singer wrote out a brutal and candid response which he probably didn’t expect.
At the time of her rejection, O’Connor shared a screenshot of the email on Twitter, captioning it: "Piers Morgan's been trying to get me on his breakfast show since Shaney died. Here's what I emailed him in response: Hopefully you'll chortle your tea out your nose."

Her email stated: "Hi Piers, I think it's best I don't do your show because of the irresistible temptation I would have to point out that you're dying to be balls deep in Meghan Markle so bad it's driven you crazy, and that your dislike of Prince Harry is down to his being balls deep in her ten times a day.
"It being the case that if you were ever to get near her, which would never happen, you'd last ten seconds: and that would be that for ten days."
Of course, Morgan just had to respond to her online and even admitted that he ‘fancied’ her.
He tweeted back at her at the time: "Hi Sinead, a delight to hear from you and I did indeed chortle my tea out of my nose. Three things.. a) I haven't hosted a breakfast show for a year. b) I actually fancy you, not Meghan. Think it's the GI Jane hair thing. c) I was so sorry about your son. Hope you're OK."

Now, Reddit users are delighted to see the email resurface as they took to the comments to drag the presenter.
A user wrote about their thoughts on the email: “This is up there with Azealia Banks’ clapbacks. Ten seconds for ten days is some crazy clever wordsmithery”.
While another added: “Loved her use of the comedic rule of three 10/10/10”.
