It's been five years now since Dakota Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres shared what must be one of the most awkward live TV moments in history.
DeGeneres, 66, was a titan of the TV industry at one point and many people tuned into her talk show as they enjoyed her interview style - as she was like a dog with a bone when it came to getting an answer out of her guests.
For the most part, it all seemed to be in good fun.

But behind-the-scenes, a string of her former employees later spoke out about the 'toxic environment' which she allegedly perpetuated on set.
After almost 20 years on screen, the controversy ultimately spelled the end of The Ellen DeGeneres Show for good.
The Emmy Award winner then announced earlier this year that she was quitting Hollywood, warning that we 'won't see her again' - which will likely come as great news to Dakota Johnson, as she can condense her party guest list guilt-free.
As I'm sure you all remember, the actress, 34, ended up locking horns with DeGeneres in front of the studio audience during an appearance on The Ellen Show back in November 2019 regarding an invitation to her 30th birthday bash.

Take a look at this to jog your memory:
The pair ended up butting heads when DeGeneres asked the Fifty Shades of Grey star about how she had marked her birthday with a big party in Malibu, which was attended by the likes of Miley Cyrus and Robert Downey Jr.
The talk show host teased Johnson and suggested that her invitation to the star-studded gathering might have been lost in the post, saying: "How was the party? I wasn't invited."

However, the Texas-born actress quickly corrected DeGeneres and explained that was 'not the truth' as she had purposely gone out of her way to request her attendance.
Johnson said: "Last time I was on the show last year, you gave me a bunch of s**t about not inviting you, but I didn't even know you wanted to be invited...I didn't even know you liked me!"
DeGeneres appeared quite taken aback that the tables had been turned on her, asking the Madame Web star whether she 'was sure' that the invitation had been sent.

"Ask everybody," Johnson replied. "Ask Jonathon, your producer. But I did invite you, and you didn't come."
DeGeneres must have double-booked herself that night, as she then awkwardly said: "I was invited? Why didn't I go? Oh yeah, I had that thing! It was probably in Malibu, that's too far for me to go to.
"I think I do remember I was invited - thank you!"
The snippet of Johnson's chat was immediately inaugurated into the Hall of Fame for one of the most awkward exchanges between two famous faces - so it's no wonder Drew Barrymore brought it up at the first opportunity she had.

The Charlie's Angels legend was asking her fellow actress about the relationship she shares with her neighbours during an appearance on her show in 2021, with Johnson then revealing that TV star Jimmy Kimmel was one of them.
She joked that although she really gets on with the people she lives adjacent to, they 'have a lot of parties and they don't invite her' - sound familiar?
It was a perfect opening for Barrymore to revisit Johnson's awkward chat with DeGeneres two years later, so she asked: "Is this for real? Because, you know, people have gotten in trouble for claiming [to not be] invited to your parties."
The party starter simply responded by saying, 'Oh my gosh', before sharing a sneaky look with Barrymore.
"That was amazing, by the way," Barrymore added. "Like, amazing."
It's all the drama, Mick! I just love it!
