While getting someone's autograph was replaced by the selfie a long time ago, some people love the old school thrill of having their idol's name scribed on paper.
But if you're going to do this for the likes of Hollywood star Elijah Wood, who has been in some pretty huge movies (Lord of the Rings, we're looking at you), you'd probably like the actor to sign a picture from one of his best known flicks.
Not this woman though:
The Oscar-winning trilogy adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy made Wood one of the most recognisable actors in the world for his portrayal of heroic hobbit Frodo Baggins.

So surely that would be the go-to, no?
Well, one woman knew exactly what she wanted when she approached Wood - who turned 43 today (28 January) - at fan convention Calgary Expo. And it wasn't his signature all over a Lord of the Rings picture.
Nope, instead she handed him a photo of himself in a very different movie.

The photo shows Wood as 'The Guy' from 2003's Spy-Kids 3D: Game Over, where he plays the mythical gamer rumoured to be able to beat the unbeatable final level of the game everyone is trapped in.
TikToker @fleeting_dreamer shared her experience and followers were delighted to see that Wood appeared to enjoy being recognised as 'The Guy'.
Wood is in the movie for less than two minutes but fans enjoyed his appearance so much that it's still a role people remember him fondly for.
In fact, people still occasionally edit his Wikipedia entry to claim he's best known for his portrayal of 'The Guy' rather than anything he did in Lord of the Rings, or any of his other movies for that matter.

An obliging Wood happily signed the picture and remembered the character as 'very cocky'.
It's a pretty accurate description considering his character shows up near the end of the movie, announces he is 'The Guy' everyone's been talking about and promises to lead the characters to the end of the game, only to almost immediately get electrocuted by a trap and lose all of his lives.
While he'll always be Frodo Baggins for some people, there are people for whom Elijah Wood is 'The Guy', and it's always nice to see an actor embracing the love for some of their more cult roles.
