A friend of George Gilbey has spoken out on mum Linda McGarry's behalf after his tragic death at the age of 40.
According to The Sun, Linda has had George's friend Ricci Guarnaccio speak out on her behalf.
George and Ricci became friends during their time together on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.

He said: "Linda wants to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent condolences.
"She just wants everyone to remember him for who he was. She’s obviously hurt at the minute but it's hugely appreciated.
"For the family, for Linda, she really, really wants everyone to know she’s taken back.

"And she's getting shown a lot of the messages that's come through because she doesn't really deal with Twitter and stuff.
"All the messages that people have been saying - all the stories, all the good times that George's has brought to their lives, and all the funny memories they've got from Gogglebox and Big Brother - it does mean a lot to her.
"So if people could keep doing that, it would be appreciated."
Guarnaccio had previously made his own tribute to the Gogglebox star, writing: “Breaks my (heart) but @georgegilbey you are well and truly going to be missed my friend.

"Always lit up the room, cared for others & the memories we made I’ll cherish for ever brother.
“From CBB to speaking to you last week, I’m going to hugely miss you ma boiii! Love you G.”
According to police, George, 40, died on the morning of 27 March after a fall from height in Shoebury, Essex.

In a statement Essex Police explained that he had 'died at the scene'.
In the aftermath Channel 4 offered a statement of its own giving condolences to George's family.
The broadcaster said: "George was part of the Gogglebox family for eight series alongside his mum Linda and stepdad Pete.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Linda and George’s family and friends at this very sad time. The family have asked for privacy."

Yesterday (28 March), police announced that a man had been arrested in connection with the death of George Gilbey.
Police said: "As part of our ongoing investigation into the death of a man in Campfield Road, Shoebury, we have arrested a man in their 40s from the Witham area on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
"This is a joint investigation with the Health and Safety Executive and our inquiries are ongoing."
