When it comes to roasting people for their food, one man instantly comes to mind.
No one does it like Gordon Ramsay. But at the same time, the bloke is regularly getting burnt himself.
And this time, Scots have been absolutely roasting the TV chef for the cost of a controversial new burger in Edinburgh.
Among Ramsay’s long list of restaurants across the UK (and beyond), is his chain of burger spots – Street Burger.

These are a slightly more low-key type of spot from the Hell’s Kitchen star, simply selling burger and fries combos.
The Scottish chef’s Street Burger restaurant up in the Scottish Capital offers a special ‘full Scottish’ burger.
But when Ramsay shared a clip of it being made to his social medias earlier this week, it got absolutely bashed.
Priced at £18 (including a side of fries), the unique burger contains Lorne sausage, an egg, hash brown, lettuce and a slice of tomato.

Although there was comments praising the creation, others complained it lacked key ingredients to really make it a ‘full Scottish’.
People aren’t necessarily slamming the price itself, but the fact it’s costing this much and missing key parts of a traditional full Scottish breakfast – haggis and black pudding.
Oh, and there’s no tattie scone either, just the hollowed-out hash brown ring.

I mean, that would be quite the heavy burger.
Instead, it’s just a Lorne sausage which are also known as square sausages or a slice. Still a traditional Scottish bit of scran though.
But users wrote on X: “Full Scottish with no tattie scone, haggis or black pudding, and with a hash brown which is not actually Full Scottish content. Grow up.”
One Scot slammed: “Brioche bun and a f**king hash brown. Bin.”

And another put: “18 quid for a sausage and egg doubler. No Scottish person would put salad on a breakfast roll. Get in the sea Gordo.”
Others echoed: “Hash brown should never be on a Scottish breakfast, get this in the bin.”
As one wrote: “Feck all Scottish about that except a bit of square. Ya fraud.”

But there are some users who say the burger ‘looks great’ and another put: “Tried one in Edinburgh, very nice!”
Another said: “I’ve been once, the burgers are delicious I have to say, staff are lovely but, it is expensive. Saying that, everything’s expensive these days but couldn’t afford to go on a regular basis.”
However, one simply responded: “Naw Gordon, naw.”
LADbible has contacted the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Group for comment.
