Meaning behind Kayne West’s wife Bianca Censori’s X-rated outfit at the Grammys 'revealed'

Meaning behind Kayne West’s wife Bianca Censori’s X-rated outfit at the Grammys 'revealed'

Bianca Censori left little to the imagination as she walked the Grammys red carpet

Whether he's deciding what socks to wear that day or thinking up bizarre outfit ideas for his wife, every fashion move Kanye West makes is calculated.

So it's only natural that fans are keen to find out the inspiration behind Bianca Censori's barely-there dress at the 2025 Grammys last night (2 February).

The Australian model, 30, dramatically dropped the black feather coat she was donning on the red carpet to reveal an extremely sheer get-up.

Her transparent attire obviously set tongues wagging, especially as West looked pretty understated in a monochrome rig out which he simply paired with sunglasses.

The YZY mogul, 47, shared an Instagram post shortly after the red carpet stunt, explaining that Censori's couture mini-dress was custom-made for her.

He wrote: "Custom Couture Grammy dress for the most beautiful woman ever. My best friend. My wife."

Censori's dress did fit like a glove, to be fair - but what on earth was the idea behind it?

Well, for starts, it seemed to mimic ex-Playboy model Rita G, who starred in her husband's 2008 music video.

In the accompanying visuals for the track 'Flashing Lights', she hops out of a Ford Mustang Bullitt in the middle of the desert while wearing a wig, fur coat and sunglasses.

She then tosses her clothing to the side and strips down to her lingerie, in a similar fashion to how Censori disrobed herself on the red carpet.

But there is also another theory floating around.

The couple supposedly recreated the artwork for Vultures 1 on the red carpet (Instagram/Kanye West)

Supposedly, Censori's fashion choice alluded to the original artwork for West's Vultures 1 album cover.

For those who haven't seen, it features a nearly-naked Censori with her back to the camera.

But the model was still more covered up than she was on the red carpet, as she at least had thigh-high black boots on and a bit of sheer fabric to sort of obscure her backside.

West, meanwhile, is once again seen wearing all black - but this time, he's also hiding his face behind a black mask.

Given the fact that they mimicked the positioning, outfit choices and the colour scheme of the album cover at the Grammys, it seems as though the couple were trying to recreate it.

According to Page Six, a source claims this is the reason why Censori strutted down the red carpet in next to nothing.

Her husband was nominated for Best Rap Song at the awards show for his track 'Carnival'.

But after causing a scandal on the red carpet, the pair are said to have promptly left the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

West would have walked away empty handed anyway, as Kendrick Lamar won the coveted category for his song 'Not Like Us'.
