The woman known as the 'Hawk Tuah girl' hasn't been heard of online in weeks since her cryptocurrency controversy.
Haliey Welch became a viral sensation for, you know, that video.

Since then, the Tennessee resident has received so much publicity and followers that she's been able to quit her job. Her podcast, Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch, already has over 200k subscribers, and Welch has been selling her fair share of merch on the side.
However, the social media star hasn't posted on her YouTube channel since 3 December, and her Instagram has been quiet since 20 December.
As keen as she's been to capitalise on her new-found fame, the Hawk Tuah girl has been criticised for her cryptocurrency dealings. In recent months, the social media star was promoting a coin named '$HAWK token', which became available on 4 December.

And its market cap remarkably soared to an eye-watering $490 million (£384 million), before it lost more than 95 percent of its value within hours. Welch was accused of doing a 'pump and dump', which is when people hype up a coin to drive up its value and then sell it quickly for profit.
On the behalf of 12 claimants, a federal lawsuit has since been filed by Burwick Law against the creators of the coin - overHere Ltd and its founder Clinton So.
Influencer Alex Larson Schultz and the Tuah The Moon Foundation have also been named in the lawsuit. It accuses them of unlawfully promoting and selling cryptocurrency, which was allegedly never properly registered.

Amid the backlash, Welch shared a statement on X on 4 December, which read: "Hawkanomics: Team hasn’t sold one token and not 1 KOL was given 1 free token.
"We tried to stop snipers as best we could through high fee’s in the start of launch on @MeteoraAG. Fee’s have now been dropped."
A couple weeks later on 20 December, she said: "I take this situation extremely seriously and want to address my fans, the investors who have been affected, and the broader community.
