Jennifer Lawrence struggled so much with having to kiss her co-star during filming that she had to get tipsy.
I mean, let’s be real, in a game of snog, marry, kiss, there’s always the person you throw at the end because even the idea of giving them a quick peck is too much to think of.
But even then, a ‘I’d have to be absolutely smashed to kiss them in a club’ comment is still hypothetical.

While for Lawrence, kissing people she doesn’t want to comes with the job of being in films.
The Hunger Games star has done her fair share of romance storylines, from the triangle with Peeta and Gale to the hilarious X-rated scenes of No Hard Feelings.
However, her experience in the roles doesn’t exactly make it any easier.

During an Actress Roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter in 2015, Lawrence explained she’d just recently done her first sex scene which she found ‘really bizarre’.
The now 33-year-old had been filming the 2016 sci-fi romance flick, Passengers when she’d had to kiss co-star Chris Pratt.
And Lawrence struggled so much with the idea of it, that she said she ‘got really really drunk’.
“But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’ And he was married,” she explained.

“And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that.” Lawrence added that although she wanted to ‘do it real’, it ‘was the most vulnerable’ she’d ever been.
While the Silver Linings Playbook star might have her own way of dealing with the kissing scenes, her Hunger Games co-star, Liam Hemsworth, had previously joked about how ‘uncomfortable’ it was kissing her.
Hemsworth told Jimmy Fallon in 2014 that while she’s one of his ‘best friends’, she made it relatively difficult for him.

“She would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was so disgusting,” he explained.
“Right before the scene, she'd be like, 'yeah, I had tuna' or 'I had garlic, and I didn't brush my teeth'. And I'd be like, “Fantastic, I can't wait to get in there and taste it'.”
And she knew exactly what she was doing as she later confirmed on The Graham Norton Show: "When I had to kiss Josh [Hutcherson] and Liam in The Hunger Games, I was like, 'who cares?' and I'd eat mustard and tuna.”
Well, fair play.
