Jeremy Clarkson makes worrying confession if you're planning on visiting his new pub

The TV legend admitted some worrying things following the mass opening of his pub, The Farmer's Dog

Jeremy Clarkson made a candid confession online to fans who might be looking to visit his newly opened pub.

The Farmer's Dog opened yesterday (24 August), as several people queued outside the £1 million pub for hours before opening, while it was also revealed that the TV presenter had banned two celebrities from his pub, with one of them hilariously being former Grand Tour co-presenter, James May.

The pub's menu was also revealed shortly before opening, revealing that most Hawkstone pints are priced at £6, while a session lager is available for just £5.50.

You can find The Farmer's Dog just off the A40 in a village called Asthall outside of Burford, and Clarkson previously spoke about the soft-opening for family and friends on Thursday that 'was a disaster', though some of those problems were rectified on the official opening day.

However, the grand opening of the Oxfordshire-based pub was later described by Clarkson on the pub's official Instagram page as a 's***show'.

He said of the opening: ""Everyone is really happy but behind the scenes, it's a swan really.

"Down there, gracefully everyone is having a really nice time. Behind the scenes, chaos, s**t show."

The 64-year-old chose to open the pub following the success of Clarkson's Farm, but spoke to the 141,000 followers in a video posted online, listing things that he 'doesn't know how to do' several things involving the pub, which is visibly stressing him out, though he is nursing a pint throughout.

Clarkson opened up, admitting: "I don't know how to stop beer throbbing.

"I don't know how to make the extractor fans work in the kitchen," he said, which is fair enough.

But then, he made a particularly worrying admission that could worry several potential customers, saying: "I don't know how to make sure if you've got table for four people, four people sit at it.

"I don't know any of that stuff," he concluded.

Despite this though, it looked like those that made their way over for opening day were happy, judging from the videos posted on social media.
