Jeremy Clarkson has responded after his massive £200 pork pie went viral leading to all sorts of questions and reaction from Joe Public.
The Clarkson's Farm frontman has invested heavily in the area around his Diddly Squat Farm, with one of the most recent purchases being the £1 million rated Farmer's Dog pub.
Roughly 20 minutes by car from the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop where people queue for hours to get inside, the pub has become the latest tourism attraction in England's Cotswolds.

Season four of Clarkson's Farm, set to be released on Amazon Prime Video in May 2025, is set to feature the acquisition of the pub and the effort put in to making it ready for opening in August last year - just a few months after taking over what was a dilapidated watering hole.
Alongside the pub is an on-site shop where punters can choose from a range of Diddly Squat goods, as well as Hawkstone beers and other locally produced goods.
There is also an onsite butchers that Clarkson is running, called Hops & Chops.

It's here that the now infamous pork pie resides. But according to Clarkson himself, he 'wouldn't recommend' having a go at it.
Jeremy Clarkson's viral pork pie
Clarkson's pork pies went viral after one Instagram reviewer said the place was filled with 'overpriced souvenirs that will end up in your bin'. Harsh, if we do say so ourselves.

Attention then turns to the pork pies, with four available in mega sizes ranging from medium to extra, extra large.
Medium costs £23.08, large £46.15; extra large £107.69; and extra, extra large £199.99.
Eyebrows were raised given that your standard pork pie costs nowhere near this. Obviously they are bigger in size, but shock is shock. And these pork pies had people aghast, with one even commenting to say they are 'cancelling their visit ASAP'. Good grief.
Why Jeremy 'wouldn't recommend' the pork pie

Clarkson being Clarkson, the 64-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) to react to the viral nature of his creation.
In doing so, he explained why you shouldn't eat the one doing the rounds.
"There are reports in some of the sillier newspapers that the enormous pork pie is for sale at the Farmer’s Dog for £200," he said.
"You’re welcome to buy it for that, but I wouldn’t recommend eating it.

"As it’s not made of food."
'Infamous pork pie'
It turns out the one in the shop itself is just for show. That's because the pies are all 'made to order' - as advertised on the pies themselves for those who took a close look.
Writing on Instagram, the pub account posted: "This now infamous £200 pork pie is actually made of straw.
"Because the real giant pies we make fresh to order for our customers with the best British farmed ingredients and to whatever size you want.
"Great value for as many people as you want to cater for... and so delicious that our Steak and Hawkstone Pie is now entered in the most prestigious pie competition in the country. Watch this space for results!"
Despite the price tags, visitors to the pub and its farm shops have praised the pies. One described them as 'absolutely gorgeous' while another said 'worth every penny'. We'll take three, Jezza.
