J.K. Rowling’s feud with the main trio of Harry Potter actors from the Warner Brother films has become a source of conversation once again as the actors for Ron, Hermione, and Harry have been confirmed for the reboot series.
The reboot, which will be produced on HBO, cast Arabella Stanton, Alastair Stout, and Dominic McLaughlin as Hermione, Ron, and Harry Potter respectively.
J.K. Rowling broke her silence on the casting yesterday to give her seal of approval to the new actors.

This led many to compare this positive reaction to Rowling’s broken-down relationship with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
This comes following J.K. Rowling’s various ‘gender critical’ comments and transphobic tweets.
J.K. Rowling's feud with the original Harry Potter trio

J.K. Rowling’s feud with the famous trio originates from their responses to ongoing controversy surrounding Rowling’s comments on the LGBTQ+ community.

This includes tweets claiming she’d rather go to prison than use a transgender person’s pronouns and misgendering India Willoughby.
This elicited responses from Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint, all condemning her comments and showing support for the Transgender community.
Radcliffe released a statement via the Trevor Project, in which he said: “Transgender women are women.
“Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I.
“To all the people who now feel that their experience of the books has been tarnished or diminished, I am deeply sorry for the pain these comments have caused you.”

Watson issued a response saying: “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren't who they say they are."
Grint said: ‘"I firmly stand with the trans community. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment."

Rowling has hit out multiple times at the trio.

The most prominent time was following the release of the Cass Review, a controversial independent review into the gender identity services provided to young people by NHS England.
When a fan online asked if it was safe to say that apologies from Radcliffe and Watson would be accepted by Rowling, she said on X: “Not safe, I'm afraid.
"Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces."
She would later during a Q&A when asked what one thing ruins a movie for her saying: “Three guesses. Sorry, but that was irresistible.”
Radcliffe issued another a response in an interview with The Atlantic following the Cass report comment made by Rowling, saying the situation was sad.

He added: “Jo, obviously Harry Potter would not have happened without her, so nothing in my life would have probably happened the way it is without that person.
“But that doesn’t mean that you owe the things you truly believe to someone else for your entire life.”
