John Cena, the WWE-superstar-turned-actor, revealed on a Logan Paul podcast what his true feelings are about the jokes that no one can ‘see him’.
Cena has recently returned to the WWE ‘full-time’ for one final run in the company, finally playing a villainous heel for the first time in his career.
This has included the wrestler chastising children, criticising WWE fans, and even slamming the years long joke that he is ‘invisible’.

This all circles back to a gimmick Cena picked up early in his wrestling career in which he would wave his hand in front of his face and taunt his opponent saying, ‘you can’t see me’.
The taunt eventually led to a now widespread meme in which people joke that Cena is invisible because they ‘can’t see him’.
While the taunt itself has a surprising origin, Cena’s WWE character slamming the jokes will also come as a massive surprise to those who watched Cena’s appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive.
Paul, who himself is now a full-time WWE wrestler, interviewed Cena and made several jokes about how he was ‘invisible’ in their interview.

Podcast co-host Mike Majlak revealed in the episode that they were ‘so nervous’ about making these jibes, and asked if the wrestler ever gets sick of people joking he is invisible.
While Cena acknowledged he is shocked by the gimmick’s ‘staying power’, he went on to say: “It’s great.”

He added: “Dude I have a superpower. I’m f***ing for real insivisble… It’s f***ing awesome.”
The interview, which came out a year ago, does not now quite align with his current WWE character.

Cena has been the epitome of a good guy in WWE for his entire 20+ year career, but his career has taken another direction.
He came out two weeks ago to raucous boos, with Netflix having to censor chants of ‘f**k you Cena’.

The wrestler began lambasting the crowd, eventually saying: “You steal my time, you have made me your fricking toy, I am an object to you.
“You have made me the butt of a stupid invisible joke for 15 years and you still think it’s funny. It is not funny. It is pathetic.”

One fan posted it to Twitter, saying: “Cena sh*tting on the invisible jokes is possibly the most villain shit he could possibly say.”
Another fan replied saying: “Who is talking, why is there no one in the ring? Why am I scared?”
