There's no 'right' way to deal with grief, as losing someone you love will flip your entire world upside down - so if mooning passersby in London makes Kate Beckinsale feel better, then so be it.
The Brit actress, 50, shared a video showing her dropping trou and pressing her bare buttocks against the window of her Knightsbridge flat which is facing the plush department store Harvey Nichols on Monday (1 July).
Although the thought of posh shoppers straggling out of the designer emporium and copping an eyeful would be enough to put most people off the idea of pulling a moonie, it seemed to add to the thrill for Beckinsale.

While holding her black tracksuit bottoms in place to protect her modesty from the front, the Serendipity star pushed her rear end against the glass pane while her friend filmed the mischievous moment.
Beckinsale can be heard saying: "Two buses went past! Do you think anyone's looking up?"
A second clip then shows the view from out of the window - but don't worry, there weren't mobs of people waiting below for the actress to whip her booty out again.

Instead, it showed a pretty much empty street with only a few cars going past as there were zero shoppers leaving the luxury store at the time - although Beckinsale still shouted: "Hi Harvey Nic's!"
Without reading the caption, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Pear Harbour star was simply having a bit of silly fun with her friend - but she actually used the opportunity to share some poignant words about grief.
The London-born celeb has kept it candid online over the last year since losing her beloved pet cat Clive on 12 June, 2023, who she described as the 'love of her life'.
Announcing the sad news last year, she told her 5.6million Instagram followers: "Clive has died. I don't have it in me to make a montage or even look at pictures of him yet. Every single part of my house feels like he should be in it."

She got a tattoo tribute to Clive inked on her forearm two months after his passing and has regularly discussed her journey of navigating grief and her coping mechanisms on her online platforms.
Captioning her moonie video, Beckinsale heaped praise on her friend, model and actress Nina Kate, for being there for her while she wades through her complicated emotions.
She wrote: "The day after Clive died and I received some of the most horrific news I’ve ever received that next morning - sometimes there’s nothing for it but for your friend to show up as hard as possible and spend the evening making prank calls and mooning Harvey Nichols because sometimes when the bottom falls out of your world the only response after crying till you’re sick is your own bottom @nina_kate I’ll never forget you jumping into the fire with me x."

They do say laughter is the best medicine and it seems that Beckinsale drew great comfort from acting the goat with her mate - and seen as though no one seemed to have saw her, who cares if she moons London anyway?
The actress is also still reeling from the death of her stepfather, TV director Roy Battersby, on 10 January, 2024, too.
The 87-year-old - known for his work on dramas including Between The Lines, Inspector Morse, Cracker and A Touch of Frost - passed away after suffering a 'massive stroke' while battling two forms of cancer.

Beckinsale said she had 'no words' to describe the loss of Battersby, adding in an Instagram post: "I fought for you with everything I had. Oh Roy, I am so sorry I lost."
In a recent social media update, she revealed that both of the tragedies had really taken a toll on her.
Beckinsale said: "I nursed my [stepdad] to his death early this year. My mum also has stuff going on. I am adjusting to watching two fathers die, one when I was 5, one in January of this year.
"I lost my soulmate cat of almost 19 years, also last year. I spent six weeks in hospital due to copiously vomiting blood from a [Mallory-Weiss tear] caused by the stress of a whole year ripping a hole between my [oesophagus] and stomach."
